Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of August 27th

Games! Yes, seriously. Check out the full release list, just a matter of millimeters below where you're looking right now.

US Games

EU Games

No new releases

Asian Games

Warhawk and Lair? In the same week? Potentially. A lot of websites are showing the US release date has been pushed forward to the 30th of this month. It could easily be the case that whatever problems they had with the game that originally had it pushed back could have been solved early. In any case, we'll find out within a few days.

European PS3 owners, worry not. As games are region free, you can import any of the games in the above list without fear. Your PS3 will gobble it up without caring where it's from. Also, don't forget the PSN version of Warhawk will be out this Thursday, with the retail box appearing on shelves in a few weeks. Remember, release dates are constantly subject to change. Constantly.

although I hope that I am wrong, I dont think that Lair release date is correct, many sites are claiming it will release on the 30th, but its odd becuase its a thursday. Our games always come out on tuesdays.

dynasty warriors are hack and slash against hundreds of opponents, i like the series even though it is pretty repetitive, but i dont like this gundam one (theres a demo on the psn) wait for dynasty warriors 6

I just reread your question and saw it asked how long, they are as long as you want, you can play the game with each character and take a really long time, but you pretty much play until you get tired of it

Yeahp. We get (including Canada of course) a digital release on Thursdays since PSN updates are always on Thursdays heh. Its been switched over from the Tuesday release date, to keep on track with the whole Thursday shebang.

So can I just import games? I live in Australia, so I get the Europe release dates (I think).
Will there be any difference between the games if I import them?

What about games coming out like Rock Band which use different controllers, which I'm planning to import - will the controllers sync up with my PS3 and stuff? Will they work with the game properly?

One thing to keep in mind is you might run into troubles with importing if you're not using an HDTV. You'll have to make sure you can handle the PAL/NTSC issues, but I understand most newer PAL TVs can handle NTSC anyway, so even then things should be good, unless you've got an NTSC TV and want to play a PAL game (unlikely).

@18 Nah, thats usually the standard price if you want your delivery recorded. I know that if im ordering from something overseas I wanna know when its released, and where it is at all times. That generally costs around 20-30 dollars.

hey everyone. at www.bestbuy.ca warhawk is selling for ONLY 39.99 so if u wanna save some money buy it from canada. thats an amazing price n i dont know why they are doing it.

yeah, I just printed off the Bestbuy link, walk into another store and get it on the same day with price-matching, all is well.

except it says its sold out :( even though its a pre-order.

dont forget that that link is from bestbuy Canada and the prices are in Canadain dollars. but at the US bestbuys i think the game is still 59.99 US dollars. but i'm canadain so ill just go and pick it up here but if your in the states u cant. you will have to order it online er sumthing.
