LocoRoco details emerge, clarified as screensaver/game

As you journey, you'll play three mini-games to multiply the number of blobs in your possession. Also, online leaderboards will make an entrance to see how your fellow screen-saver-playing buddies are doing, including a time attack option. Japan is getting the title on September 21st, but there's no word yet on a US or European release. It'll cost the Japanese about 800 yen and set them back nearly 190 MB, as explained on the Japanese website for the game. If you're using Firefox, it seems to disable tabbing, so open a new window just to be safe.

I'd be lying if I didn't say my first impression of this news is disappointment. This has gone from an immediate purchase, to I've gotta play it first :(

The only thing more incessantly annoying than 360 fanboys posting flame bait here is the relentless charge towards posting the first comment but actually posting nothing of relevance at all. Can we please put a moratorium on this type of behavior? Editors/mods can anything be done?
As for Locoroco it seems to be on par with Flow both in terms of content and price. Looks like it will make a pleasing diversion.

Why is this game/screen saver 190mb?

A lot of flash objects "disable tabbing" in firefox, it just doesn't let you click on a different one, if it happens all you need to do is middle click on the home icon, or open a new tab some other way, and then you can use your other tabs. It's a bit of a pain, but it's happened to me before.
$8 for a screensaver, I think I'll pass no matter how interactive it is.

The current exchange rate for 800 yen is 7.29 Canadian. Knowing Sony doesn't play by the currency market I'll pass, $10 is too much for this.
