Loco Roco Cocoreccho available next week on the UK PSN for cheap
According to UK videogame site CVG, Loco Roco Cocoreccho is rolling onto the UK PSN next week for the budget price of just £1.99. This puts it significantly cheaper than the Japanese release, which at 800 yen puts it at almost 2x the cost of the UK release.
It is assumed that the reason for the cheap cost is that this isn't a full fledged game per se, but some kind of weird bastard child of a Loco Roco game (with full tilt controls evidently) and um, a screensaver. They haven't mentioned HOW it's a screensaver, but considering the title has online leaderboards and actual gameplay so it's going to be a pretty damn in-depth screensaver.
So with the British and the Japanese getting Loco Roco Cocoreccho next week, where's the American love?

It will probably work like flOw, but with an auto-start. If you leave flow alone, the little thing will just swim around on it's own. I bet Loco Roco will roll around and sing under it's own volition until you grab the controller and take over, then it becomes a game.
That's pretty hot, by the way. I wish they'd throw out a free flOw update to make it do that.

Yeah Flow is kinda forgotten. I hope new PS3 owners don't pass it up, it's very soothing after a hard night of partying or demolishing dudes in Warhawk.

@1 and 2, I agree. I have flOw, and it was one of my first PSN downloads. I've heard bad reviews, but for what it is, I've really enjoyed it, and I'm glad I'm not the only one. :D

I easily get frustrated with Warhawk. In game its great, but getting into Sony servers is not easy and it freezes at the endgame screen. So maybe I should pick up Flow or Loco Roco.

Though I'm not at home these days to check these PSN games out, I would like more to be released by the time I get back home in the winter. PSN can compete with XBLA better by getting more games, by giving more approvals to the developers, than spending too much time on Home. I just want a few side scroll shooters.

So...$5 for a game based on one of the best PSP games ever.
I don't understand anyone complaining about the price at this level.
How many BK King games were sold for X at this price and those were crap.

Loco Roco Cocoreccho is BRILLIANT. Seriously, this is the most fun £1.99 I've ever spent... its a bigger game than I had expected and the music is fantastic.
