New WipEout, Pursuit Force themes available

So you've updated your PSP to firmware 3.70, and you've checked out Joystiq's guide to installing themes. Now you're saying to yourself, "that was fun, but I wish I could have a theme that wasn't bright pink". Well your wish has been granted by the UK Playstation site. Click here for your choice of Lemmings, WipEout, or 6 different Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice themes, as well as Cookies or Classy Pink.

Just give me a God of War Theme and the demo and my psp slim purchase will be justifed. I just got wipeout so i think i'll use that theme.

That's how I like it... if Sony keeps on going like this, I won't take the risk to downgrade... I can't wait to get Voip and the other promised stuf...

last time i heard..in psp vault that sony soon will release on how we can create our own themes but i think thats bunch of bull

Is it just my PSP but why is there no custom icon for the Location Free player in the XMB? Every theme I tried all icons got curtom images except for the Location Free icon.

I hope in 3.71 we also get to choose from all the extra background colors like you can with the PSP slim. Those 12 colors the old PSPs got are just too limited.

Why didn't they post the wipeout theme? That one's defiantly the best of all the themes that have com out so far. I like the lemmings theme way better than any of those Pursuit Force themes. At least put up pictures of the cool themes so people aren't bummed out, and decide not to even bother.

@ 10.. on my psp the location free player icon does not change no matter what custom theme I apply.

Cookies introduced PSP owners to themes

Classy Pink is for the PSP's female audience.

The Wipeout Pure theme is perfect for those loving the sci-fi genre (myself included).

The Lemmings one is for probably younger audiences.

The Pursuit Force ones are just strange. o.O

The location free player icon doesnt change, this is probably because its one of the two icons on the xmb that are also logos. Since they are logos, sony probably would rather them stay the way they are in order to be identifying (namely the playstation spot logo).

I like the wipeout theme, i changed the background to another futuristic background and the icons look awesome. Im glad that themes work on the old psp.

Currently it seems to be through the psp itself, its not on the official site yet. Also, its on the japanese and euro site.

I dig the new themes. Well, mostly the Lemmings one (goes with the Sam and Max background I have) and the Wipeout one. Honestly....I am seriously hoping for a theme based on Metal Gear Portable Ops or MG: Acid!

Hopefully Sony will release a theme-builder or maybe someone will figure out the fileformat and let us make our own themes.
Looking forward to see the stuff people will design and new official themes from Sony... Heavenly Sword, Lair, flOw anyone? :)

well guys if ir having trouble downloading the 10 new custom themes u can go to http://www.pspimages.net/pspthemes.php
and if u click on the download button and it doesnt work right click on the download button and click on save target as...
there u go
