Ratchet and Clank demo is captured on video

Stop by a EB Games or Gamespot lately? You can pick up a Blu-ray demo of the upcoming PS3 platformer, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction. A must-watch for the inquisitive, thanks to the commentary. Sure, it isn't the best quality, thanks to its "hey, I'm a dude capturing video off a screen" feel, but for many -- it's the best you can do. Hopefully, it won't be too long before you're able to download this to your hard drive and give it a whirl.

Awseome demo, I really enjoyed playing it. Only issue for me was the page tearing, hopefully they will address that in the final build.

This was a system seller for me. Hope it's as good as it looks 'cus I was so let down with HS that I just went and picked up a Wii. Still think Warhawk is the best game ever though.

I did hear that the PSN build of the demo will be available on Oct 4th. The EBGames/Gamestop demo is an earlier build and has a few differences.

Judging from the other cutscenes along with this one, I believe it is in-engine.

It's most likely using the in-game engine for the cutscenes. That's how they usually do them.
