Angel Love Online brings cuteness to PS3
While the free-to-play MMO features the standard RPG knights, mages and robots, you'll also apparently be able to command humanoid pigs, cats, dogs, zombies with candles on their heads, Native Americans and several creatures the English language has no names for.
Although, it's difficult to understand what's going on in the video since it's all in Japanese and the screen is obscured by disturbingly cute characters, Mizuguchi and his team definitely know what they're doing ... at least we think they do.

Uhm, this is a pretty old online game for the PC, are you saying it's coming to the PS3 now or is this a sheer mistake? The video is the same old they've always had on their webpage.

Wow there were some big battles in the end.

In my opinion this looks very ugly - in the big action in the end you can't see whats going on there and where your position is - and some stuff is very bad animated. Can't see the inovation here, ever played Ragnarok? If it will cost a monthly fee it gets totaly useless for the gamer and a moneyprinting machine for them.

I wouldn't mind a Ragnarok client for the ps3... but this looks cute, like a cross between Disgaea and Ragnarok Online. A definite play for my gf and I if it comes to the US.

Raise your hands if your tired of cutesy Manga characters with spiky hair in an RPG.

I won't raise my hand, but just because I like Jeanne d'Arc too much. Those characters look miserable. I WAS excited about this. I say, "Oh! A free PS3 MMO? It's like a home RPG!" But then I see this and say, "Why the SNES graphics on a preres background?"
