Eternal Sonata hits PS3 next year, receives bonus content
Now that we know Eternal Sonata is definitely being released on the PS3, we've learned even more good news regarding Bandai Namco's newest RPG - the PS3 version will receive bonus content not found on the Xbox 360's.According to IGN, the PS3's Eternal Sonata will feature new events to flesh out the game's storyline, Crescendo and Serenade will be playable characters and you'll even be able to change your character's outfits.
Although Eternal Sonata was released today on the Xbox 360, PS3 owners have to wait until next year, but, hey, it could be well worth the wait.

Have you become Fernando Rocker 1.2? All you do is pretty much bash Sony and praise Nintendo...
btw, I have seen games that have taken advantage of the extra time, best example, Rogue Galaxy, they took about an extra year, they added a new planet and it helped A LOT, believe me, I played both the japanese and the american versions, I beat the first one at 80 hrs, Im still at undone (When I want to finish a game, I complete it 100%) and at 100+ hrs...

Read before you post, new characters and outfits themselves is WORTH A LOT in the japanese market (In America too, but not as much)...

Us PS3 owners have said the same about PS3 games coming to the 360. And extra content is usually a given with a later release date (like MGS2 for xbox and Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3). If you really liked your Eternal Sonata, you would be playing it right now instead of reading this article at all. I am at college so I can't play any of my RPG, but I rarely go on these sites (and I'm only talking about PS3 ones) when I'm back home.

As #2 said, this isn't a "PS3 difficulties set back development" type of situation. This is a "Rogue Galaxy" situation, where they wanted to make sure that it was improved upon and made worth the wait. It's also very unlikely that development on the 360 and PS3 versions was simultaneous, so until there's proof don't try to start mudslinging with "PS3 is too hard to develop for" crap.

Since Bioshock is also a PC game, this was the game that made me want to get a 360 more than any other, guess now I can just sit back and enjoy my PS3 without worry that I'm missing out :)

Well, I wanted to support this game for the 360, because the more sales the 360 gets for jrpgs, the more likely developers would want to work for the 360, but then I find this news out when I was about to go buy it, and I was thinking of getting a ps3 someday, now I just want to hold out till I get a ps3 and the ps3 version comes out. Way to go Bandai for releasing this information. I bet a lot of people that were thinking of getting this for the 360 might be changing there minds as I may. That really helps sales. Argh!
Then again, if it goes platinum, it wont really matter much.
I might reconsider because I hope 360 jrpg sales go well so we get more on the system.
