TGS07: Squall joins Final Fantasy Dissidia line-up
Angsty teen star of Final Fantasy VIII, Squall Leonhart, can be spotted in the no-cameras-allowed screening of the Final Fantasy Dissidia trailer. The CG trailer for this PSP brawler showed Squall going head to head against Sephiroth.Fans of Squall will be glad to see his oh-so-dreamy good looks again. However, many other Final Fantasy regulars will now want to consider picking up Dissidia simply for the opportunity to beat up the "pouty jerk."

Awesome. Squall is my favorite FF hero. I hope he can do the Renzokuken. I also hope he appears with his ubercool orginal FF8 attire.

i forgot that FF8 was on the playstation man Squenix could toss me a bone and just upgrade it to PS2 (same with FF7) if they are too lazy to make a PS3 version. Shouldn't take long seeing how easy it is to make a PS2 game now a days since it's been out forever and a day

Same here, my favorite protagonist is also Squall. Definitely getting this. I just hope its a simultaneous worldwide release.

this guy, cloud, Sephroth(spelt wrong i know) Tidus, and Auron really need to be in the game, be cool if they had Shadow from FFV(3 on SNES) i dont give a crap who else they threw in i want to see those guys.

swwwwwweeeet! FFVIII just happens to be the first FF game I've ever played. and until this day, still one of my biggest 'accomplishment' knowing I was able to beat this game at level 80+

Yes, I will enjoy kicking this guy's ass. He was the worst protagonist in an FF game, ever. Even Vaan kicked more ass than he did. Hell, Penelo has him beat.

Wolf, you're kidding me right? Vann and Penelo?!?! HA!!
I agree somewhat with you. I know technically FF8 isn't the best FF game I've ever played. FF10 is actually the best FF game I've played. But still, FF8 will always be my favorite. I loved the characters, graphics, story, the world, and of course the gunblades. Oh, and finally, FF8's intro is my still my most favorite FMV off all time.

I agree with you entirely, but really, he was no different than any other FF character. The main theme in FF is "Manly men can be manly, but they like to cry and pick flowers, too." Cloud was a HUGE pansy, which made me become more and more attached to the stoic Vincent. At least HE didn't cry into his sleeve every other cinematic.
