Strangely, Sony has updated the
PlayStation.blog to reflect tomorrow's update. As of writing, none of this content is available for download -- but at least you'll know what's coming. The biggest surprise? The motion-enabled
Go! Sports Ski is incredibly affordable.
- Game: Go! Sports Ski ($2.99)
- Demo: The Simpsons
- Demo: Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War
- Tutorials: NBA 08 and Eye of Judgment
- Game Videos: Uncharted Behind the Scenes; Haze developer interview; Metal Gear Online trailer
- Movie Trailers: Tekkonkinkreet, Surf's Up

not that great but better than nothing. I'm excited about Haze....should be pretty good. Also I was wondering about a release date for Street Fighter HD (I know completely off subject, just wondering)
Andy @ Oct 3rd 2007 7:47PM
I wanna try the simpsons demo.
Kattleox @ Oct 3rd 2007 8:15PM
I just may have to get Go! Sports Ski. I still have $4 left over from getting Crash Bandicoot.
Justin @ Oct 3rd 2007 8:21PM

sm @ Oct 3rd 2007 8:36PM
I thought Ratchet and Clank demo was coming out tomorrow.
drdre74 @ Oct 3rd 2007 8:44PM
2.99 great is a good price! I may get it. But I really want the Simpsons demo!
Metoo @ Oct 3rd 2007 10:20PM
The R&C demo got delayed until Oct 11th.
@ @ Oct 3rd 2007 10:33PM
*Sigh* More sports related garbage. To me, this is the biggest problem with consoles. Too much sports crap. Can't stand it.
phattie @ Oct 3rd 2007 10:36PM
Are anyone buying those GO! games? Just wondering.
Andy @ Oct 3rd 2007 10:40PM
@9
There is more than one?
I will probably buy it. I wish they had a demo for it but for 2.99 I'll just go for it.
JimNasium @ Oct 3rd 2007 10:49PM
@8 I disagree. The problem right now is too many First Person Shooters
Michael C. Sherrin @ Oct 3rd 2007 10:51PM
I'm really excited about the Simpsons game. I hope the combat is as fun as the arcade game from days long ago. That and all the jokes and spoofs already look hilarious.

Simpsons should be cool
mccomber @ Oct 4th 2007 12:33AM
The Simpsons? What a surprising, pleasing, hopefully more enjoyable than I'm expecting... surprise.
phattie @ Oct 4th 2007 12:36AM
@10.. yea, there was Go! Puzzle released a while back. its like a whole series or something.
Neil @ Oct 4th 2007 2:03AM
As far as graphics go Bladestorm looked really crappy, I mean having lots of people on screen at one time is great and all, but when the rest of the world looks like ass whats the point? Still I guess gameplay could be good...doubt it though.
dp @ Oct 4th 2007 2:14AM
tekkon kinkreet is one of the best animes ive seen in a long while. grab that trailer and definately catch the full release.
quality stuff.
@ @ Oct 4th 2007 2:31AM
Right. There are a lot of First Person Shooters. That's true. But I can at least enjoy an FPS now and then. But sports? I don't like any of them.
JKPierce @ Oct 4th 2007 4:15AM
That's subjective, though. They're being developed because of others are purchasing. It's really not like those developers could be put to better use; they know sports games, so they make them.
If one doesn't like a product, one has the freedom of protest through not purchasing it. It's a lost notion as of late.

You know that there is not only you on the planet, don't you?
Phizzy @ Oct 4th 2007 8:48AM
Japan has a 'Record of Agarest War' Demo. It amuses me.
borland502 @ Oct 4th 2007 9:43AM
@9: "Are anyone buying those GO! games? Just wondering."
I've bought every single one: From Go! Sudoku to Go! Puzzle. My wife likes them. A similar reason explains my purchase of Rub a Dub.
It is very, very, very, very helpful to have games your spouse will play. That keeps them from musing on just how much you've spent on everything else.
Popfrogs @ Oct 4th 2007 9:07AM
@22: Is that similar to Record of Lodoss War?
Also I can't wait for a Valkyrie demo, the footage I've seen so far makes it look amazing.
T-P-M @ Oct 4th 2007 9:52AM
@24: LOL Yeah I totally agree.
HAAS599 @ Oct 4th 2007 9:56AM
Sony continues to put a smile on my face every thursday.
T-P-M @ Oct 4th 2007 1:43PM
They just added a post on the blog:

Hi, one more thing to add to today’s update. We will also be releasing a Metal Gear Online trailer from Konami (HD - 1080).
Phizzy @ Oct 4th 2007 2:54PM
Argh, I've been reloading the Yank Store every 20 minutes for the past seven hours. Slow Yanks are slow.
@ @ Oct 4th 2007 3:05PM
@21.
What the Hell does that have to do with anything? I hate sports games and anything related, which consoles are full of. And which is also why consoles are becoming more of a turn-off for me.
I mean obviously the sheep will keep buying the crap, so they'll keep making it. Doesn't mean I'm going to hate it any less.
Solace @ Oct 4th 2007 4:03PM
@ "@"
what sports games are you talking about?
Simpsons? Bladestorm?
i guess you're talking about Go!Ski, maybe, but that's about as sports related as SSX or TonyHawk.
dummass.
T-P-M @ Oct 4th 2007 4:12PM
@29: "..consoles are becoming more of a turn-off for me." So your currently turned on by consoles? :S (JK)
Seriously though, I don't care for sports games either. I know there have been a lot of late, but these also been a lot of non sport games too. There's always going to be something you don't care for...
@ @ Oct 4th 2007 4:38PM
Consoles get me all hot and bothered. I light a few candles by my PS3 every night. Pour it a glass of wine, mm mmm. :D
Alan Ridout @ Oct 4th 2007 7:24PM
So wheres this update? us store looks the same, im itching to get at the simpsons demo
Broken Haiku @ Oct 4th 2007 9:11PM
They're sure slow today. The EU PSN was updated almost 24 hours ago by now and still nothing.
Phizzy @ Oct 4th 2007 10:24PM
Wow, the Simpsons Game looks like upscaled PS2 crap, the shadows aren't even real-time, even with the very limited use of colour. Lard Lad looks absolutely terrible when out of range of the evil noobshader rendering. When I started the demo I was literally disgusted.
I take it that means it's another '360 is the only significant console' game, then.
gumby @ Oct 5th 2007 4:21AM
Hmm...I really enjoyed the simpsons demo. Rolling homer ball with insane pepper goodness.
Murry @ Oct 5th 2007 11:27AM
@35 I really have to disagree, I think they really nailed the look of the cartoon with this game. I have been waiting since Dragon's Lair for a game that is a truly a playable cartoon and I think they have done it with this.
On a side note: The 360 didn't get this demo yet, PS3 FTW!!
