Cool. Hope the Ratchet demo is of a more recent build than the BD demo. There were a handful of issues with the BD demo, like screen tearing and low-quality animations at certain points.

This is a great update. When I was first reading down this list, I thought it was going to say Uncharted demo because it came right after the list of all the demos. Then I realized it said Uncharted behind the scenes video, this is still a great update though. I'm just really excited for Uncharted I guess.
Popfrogs @ Oct 11th 2007 5:09PM
Uncharted is still working on going gold, they'll probably have a demo shortly after the release..
Anyway this looks like another awesome week for demos. R&C, 1.6gb, I'll be playing it tomorrow. :)

i always wonder
why does sony put up trailers to movies coming from paramount or any other studio not doing blu-ray?
is this a mistake by them or whats going on here...
Jon D @ Oct 11th 2007 5:13PM
haha, i'm waiting for the uncharted demo as well, but this new update will hold me over for awhile. i'm excited for R&C but 1.6 GB?!?!?! i think my heart just skipped a beat. looks like i need to really clean up my drive. it's almost full!

I want Everyday Shooter. Bring it to Euroland Sony, I'm going to give you money!
Truckondo @ Oct 11th 2007 6:01PM

They most likely have contracts already in place to put those trailers up. Eventually they will be on Blu-ray.
popozao @ Oct 11th 2007 6:55PM
Everyday Shooter thoughts: Interesting. It's as if Rez and Geo Wars had a kid. I like how there's depth to the gameplay; you collect points to get extra lives, and also unlock "extras" such as more lives when you start the game, different rendering modes and so on. But the key is to find out how to kill the most enemies simultaneously, and each level has it's own method of doing so. Only played for a little while, but its a tiny download (38 Mbs) and so far seems really awesome.

Considerably less Sports junk this time around. I'm pleased. Keep it up, Sony.
Truckondo @ Oct 11th 2007 7:24PM
I didn't notice a "invert" option for the camera in the Ratchet & Clank demo. Why do developers fail to put that in?
navstar @ Oct 11th 2007 7:55PM
Does Sony ever release stats about how many trailer/wallpaper/video downloads are HD and how many are SD? I'd be really curious to find out how many PS3 owners are SD.
phattie @ Oct 11th 2007 7:59PM
Oh god, R&C is taking forever to install.. thats after taking forever to download.
B1gC72 @ Oct 11th 2007 9:31PM
is this the same R&C demo as the one that came with the gamestop preorder? because i already got the preorder copy (fantastic game btw) but if the PSN one has more content then ill download that 2.
well right now im going to go look up a couple Everyday Shooter gameplay videos before i buy it and download this new Uncharted trailer. cant wait for that game either.
