Did you get your God of War demo discs?

Many readers have been sending us tips, saying the God of War demo discs simply have not arrived in their inbox. A representative from SCEA confirmed with PSP Fanboy that the discs were shipped out the week of September 24th. Everyone that signed up for the demo should have received it by now. We'd like to know the truth.

DO NOT VOTE IN THIS POLL IF YOU DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THE DEMO DISC FROM THE OFFICIAL GOD OF WAR WEBSITE IN THE SUMMER. These results, and your comments, will be sent to Sony so that we can investigate what's really going on. Your help is much appreciated!

I am glad that I wasn't the only one who has yet to receive their GOD OF WAR Demo in the mail. I am just hoping some idiot isn't hoarding the copies of the demo somewhere.

Its been the same deal with me as with you guys. I was getting emails saying its coming, and others afterwards with video and images leading up to when they were supposed to ship. But I havnt received it yet, its strange. I normally always get UMD demo's in a sort of timely manner, in many cases totally unexpectantly.

Never got one. Never got the email saying I was going to recieve it, just the initial 'you successfully signed up' email.

I didn't get the Jeanne D'Arc demo either. If somebody has a spare copy of that to toss around, send it to me maybe? :( I wanted that one worse then God of War.

i have ps3 and psp fanboy sites of rss. And i believe i was probably one of the first people to sign up...I still havent recieved my demo and thought since i was in Canada thats why. Every playstation demo takes forever to reach me

Well, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one screwed by this. Maybe Sony will actually act on it's new policy of being "truthful" and give us a good reason.

I have gotten to e-mail the first one said I would be getting it then the second one said I should be getting it soon and still no demo. I am starting to wonder if I will not get it at all or if I will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for it. Seeing as some things take long to ship. May be Sony just did not want to pay a lot of money to ship them so it is going to take some time.

Thanks for looking into this matter! I have not received my demo (despite signing up and receiving conformation) but I for sure received megs and megs of e-mail promoting the little GOW vids and telling me the demo was gonna arrive and blah blah blah.

It may be because its too large to make for a reasonable filesize for a downloadable demo.

Signed up for mine the first day you could. I have a number of e-mails saying the demo is on its way and one with a link to download the mp3 that says I should have it already. Still haven't received anything.

I love how these always devolve into 'Sony lies!' If you've got no idea what's going on and you haven't bothered asking, why are you complaining?

It's not hard to imagine there's some problem; one has to remember that Sony, et al are companies that want one's money en masse. To think that they'd deliberately piss off their userbase is ridiculous--not that logic has ever stood in the way of hyperbole.

No demo received for me, though. Like someone said on PS.Blog, mail men and women have stoled our demos.

I signed up right away and got a confirmation screen but never got any emails. I'm in Canada and figured that's why I didn't get it, but at the same time I was a little pissed that the form let me sign up if I had no chance of getting one. I mean, why bother with the tease.

But if so many people in the States didn't get theirs, well that gives me hope again. Not much hope, but hope.

Signed up, received confirmation e-mails and I still wait in anitcipation that I when I get back home from work everyday, I would see my GoW Demo waiting for me at home only to be disappointed every night =(
