Rumor: Warhawk add-on coming in December?

Just when you thought you may have had enough of Warhawk, rumors are surfacing about a new pack of goodies due out in December for the online-only title. What's in this rumored pack, you ask? It seems the main draw of the expansion is a new vehicle -- something that launches missiles, or can airlift things, or shoot lasers out of its ears. Well, not the last one, but without official confirmation, it might as well get added to the list.

Incognito's own Dylan Jobe didn't confirm the update, but did imply some are on their way when he said "we will further update the community with additional server-side updates, as well as client-side patches." Guess we'll find out the truth in December!

This was listed in the new feature of Game Informer that I got yesterday. Sounds pretty official-ish...

awesome......they better have a lot more vehicles though.....i get kinda tired of same old play, but back to studying and more games later

add an ocean map, with each side having 1 carrier with a dozen of warhawk and some destroyers here and there that we can pilots and some small transports ships :D

I am curious to find out exactly what they will include. However, the DLC had best be very cheap (closer to free the better) for those of us who have stuck with the title despite the problems it has faced.

I can not wait until December for the fixes, my account was promoted to 2nd lieutenant the same first day i played, and i am unable to play on any server where play people with my own game expertise, that is none, the idea of ranks is that you can learn step by step how to play the game, something i can not do. I refuse to create a new account just for this game (who knows if that one will be promoted too by this ugly error). So Incognito, instead of trying to expand the game, please fix it and reset my account first (robmv is my account just in case I am lucky and someone has the right contacts because I have tried any support website i have found)

and by the way.. fix the voice chat quality, it is unintelligible and it is not bandwidth problems because it happens even on servers with two players

If you get game informer then it says that it is coming in december. The new thing is a dropship that has 6 missle turrets and can carry vehicles.

I absolutely love this game. I got my PS3 a couple of weeks before Warhawk came out. Since Warhawk has been out, that is all I've played. Sure there are problems and they'll get fixed, but they haven't ruined the game experience for me at all. I'm down with any kind of add-on.

Yeah, this game is definitely the sheeeeit. Cept there are people having problems (not me) who I side with concerning the current fixes before and expansion. I have heard a lot of people say they don't even play this game anymore, so maybe this is Incog's way of trying to pump fellow warhawkians up. Besides the fact I am overjoyed to see an expansion so soon, I am a little confused because it is so soon. But Warhawk is a great game, especially when it works! As said, this game really doesn't give me any problems...i get proper stat tracking, 1st - 2nd game connections and barely any freezing. So whatever it is that is hurting others playing experience, that needs to be fixed first here. Then an expansion, with AT LEAST 2 LEVELS. I can't see one extra vehicle being too big of a deal, but then again the entire expansion is not fully detailed.

you guys do realize that the people who make add-ons (artists with a handful of program implementers) aren't the same as the ones that fix bugs, don't you? it's not like they are taking resources away from bug fixes for these add-ons...
and other than the stats not tracking the first week or so, i haven't had any problems with the game, though i do feel bad for those of you who do. :(

What? Never! I'm still avidly playing it, as are others... in fact my biggest problem is that the blue servers are always full.

Glad they fixed the stat thing, now just fix the tank glitch please! Tired of cheaters racking up 60 kills in 10 minutes with no retribution. Doesn't happen real often but still, even once is too much.

i bought this the day after it came out and still havent been able to play it at my house because of some connect error even though my other online PS3 games work fine. so i think they need to get bugs fixed before they add new content.....well unless their doing both at the same time.

I have a problem. I got this game last week and cannot stop playing it. I absolutely love it!

However, I have less than 300 points and am currently ranked as a Commander. I would like to see that fixed.

Are you getting the "unable to join game" message? Or something else?

The "unable to join game" message does come up a lot for me. Sometimes I get right in, but often I get 1 or 2 of those messages before finding a game that lets me in. I know that can be frustrating, but just keep trying. One time I must have gotten 10 of those messages in a row, really frustrating, but that was the only time it was that bad.
