White Knight Story gets some fresh ink, fresh faces

By fresh ink, we mean new scans of White Knight Story erupting from the depths of Famitsu magazine. With no clear release date in sight, we can only marvel and gaze at the new snippits of artwork and graphical prowess Level 5 is preparing to woo us with. The scans predominantly showcase the different Knights you'll either encounter or gain the ability to become (since we can't read Japanese we're just guessing here), but there are a few pieces of scenery and character art to check out as well. That Level 5 mascot, the purple toad thing, even makes an appearance. We'll keep you up to date whenever we find more stuff on White Knight Story, so don't worry!

This game looks cool, hope it comes out soon. I am very impressed with this game so far.

The purple toad thing appears to be some kind of king - perhaps a quest to restore him back to being a human? Or just a weird baddy?...
Interesting so far. I have to admit to one thing though: The demonic looking dudes are way cooler than the heroes. I kinda wish they would make a game where you looked cooler than some spikey haired 16 year old (good for FF, but gets tiresome game after game after game).

The "Knights" part, you make your own character thats why you see the different faces.

The purple toad is quickly becoming Level 5's chocobo. He's been in several of their games, most recently, Jean D'Arc.

Well, he's probably actually there to chew two things and spit one out. That's what he's always done before. Also, he's probably not human, but a toad with a human trapped inside. (Just since that's what he's been in Rouge Galaxy and Jeanne d'Arc.)

Also, I totally and completely agree about the bad guys. I wish that Vaan was half as cool as the Judges.
