No Metal Gear Solid 4 demo for PSN

Kojima Productions revealed in its latest podcast that it has no plans to release a downloadable demo of Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PSN. Host Ryan Payton stated: "I can tell you, as of right now, we don't have any plans of uploading this demo on the PlayStation Store." Instead, those interested in catching an early glimpse of Snake's next espionage game will have to do so at E for All in Los Angeles. Michael Shelling added: "[E for All] is going to be your one chance to actually play it prior to it launching next year."

Considering the immense hype behind the game, it seems Konami is confident that it can simply release the game without a demo. Certainly, there are very few that need to be convinced of its quality.

I hate speculation-able diction as much as the next guy, but...

I can see em using the E-for-All demo as another opportunity to try to tweak it again before slapping it on the PSN.

You know what I want as much as the freakin' demo? The missing trailers. On the PSN. In 1080p please.

what a bunch of idiots not everyone has played MEtal Gear B4 i for one havent so a demo would have been nice,. oh well i'll end up renting it to see what its like then i'll end up keeping it till i beat it and wont need to buy it,.

Shame, I wanted to have a taste of this sooner, like Gran Turismo HD. Access to cutting-edge demos makes the PS3 that much more interesting- I hope they change their mind and release something before the new year after all, this could just be hyping up that show. In fact, I take all this to mean that they really will be releasing a demo!
