Devil May Cry 4 has "emo" hero, release date set

Appearances by Trish, Lady, Dante, and pretty much the entire DMC cast ensemble are to be expected. Nero is described by Capcom as "cynical and prefers being a lone wolf, often labeled emo." That made us giggle a little bit. But probably the most important slice of information is a solid release date scheduled by Capcom -- a street date of February 2008 has been set. We'll have some more DMC4 news for you in a little bit, so don't worry, fans of the franchise, more news is coming.

Unfortunately, I think its still a cross platform. The only one that still has some hope for returning as a exclusive is Resident Evil 5, but time will tell.

Where have you been? It's been multiplatform since June/July. So "Time" has already told the world.
All future capcom IPs are the same for both the 360 and ps3; Multiplatform.

Capcom can go f-k himself. I decided not to buy anymore of their games since they showed the middle finger to all PS3 owners. Anyone with little sense of self respect should know that buying anything, and i mean ANYTHING from that sh-y little company means acceptance of their insults.

A game is a game is a game, and Ive been looking forward to this one for a while.
I guess I would be singing another tune if I only owned a PS3, but I have the other 2 systems as well so maybe thats why Im not as bitter towards them as a lot of other people I see.
Either way, really looking forward to this, despite the fact it comes out the same month as Smash Bros. Which might be a problem.

Take it easy, man! Capcom isn't the worst gaming company...the people who made Fight Club are. I dont see how being multi-platform company is bad, in fact its really good business and very profitable.
Think about all original games Capcom ever made like Street Fighter, Okami, Rockman X dash series, Strider, Rival schools, Tech Romancer,Power Stone, Devil May cry, Onimusha, the Marvel vs Capcom series....come on, you see where Im going here. There are geniuses that make games there.
Just because they havent made any exclusive ps3 games yet, doesnt mean they never will.

Why so mad John, it's not like it's NOT coming to the PS3. What do you have to know that only can enjoy something for you to really enjoy it. Gesh.

Well, I'm glad they've decided to put in all those "other" characters from the Devil May Cry universe.
However, I hate the developers for skipping out on Vergil. Best DMC character except for Dante himself and they pretty much refuse, at least in interviews, to include him in this game.
Unless there is some weird story element that makes it where Nero = Vergil then I could care less. Cant help it....they put that blue coated badass in the 3rd game and i've been hooked every since.

umm, you do know Vergil is dead... you kill him in DMC1
maybe that is why they refuse to put him in.
I sadly am too broke to get any next gen system yet, so will have to wait...

last time i checked february is month, not a data. i just don't trust release dates without an actual 'date' in it. but anyway, i hope this game don't come out too close to ninja gaiden ii, 'cause we all know which will be a superior game.
