Do you smell that? I smell delay

@ 1 The game has gone gold, bit too late for a delay now.

This is good news that they will have a demo out for uncharted. It looks pretty good so far but for me it will be one of those titles that I have to play before I'm convinced. The only game I'm buying this holiday season no matter what is Assassins Creed, I have wanted that game since before I made the next gen jump and got my ps3. I felt the same way about COD4 until I just read that it takes 4-6 hours to beat its single player mode.

This doesn't seem unusual to me. A lot of people try out demo's after the game is released to see if they want to buy it. So for the game developer, the don't want to provide a demo that has frustrating flaws.

I wouldn't mind a demo a week before the game hits. Gives me chance to help make my mind up about the game.

Where do you find when a game goes gold? Did I miss this from an earlier post? There would be no reason to delay the game then.

Seems pretty logical to have a demo a week or two before release. Man, some of these Joystiq contributors are whiny. And the game game won't be delayed, pushed up if anything like R & C because if you did your homework, you'd know that the game is 100% finished, gold as they say.
