Warhawk patch v1.1 sneaks out early
Dylan Jobe is at it again with another PlayStation.Blog post. This time to let us know that Warhawk patch version 1.1 accidentally slipped out into the public. Some players in the US with the Blu-Ray version of the game were able to download and install version 1.1 before it had finished it's internal testing procedure at Sony. The update has since been removed from the PlayStation Network.
Anyone who installed the update is required to delete their Warhawk data from the Game Data Utility section of the XMB. Jobe assures us that save data and stats will not be affected. The real release of version 1.1 is still targeted for the end of this month. You never know, those extra few days of testing could make all the difference.

Oh shit! I hope it doesn't mess anything up... How the hell does a patch "SNEAK OUT EARLY"??

I'm sorry, but what does patch 1.1 entail?

Everyone loves a new patch, but I wish the number was higher. (Warhawk 2.0!) and it actually added more to the game itself. I'd be willing to wait for a BIG update, rather than have little ones sooner.

Someone at SCEA will need to hide from Dylan :)

Haven't played Warhawk in a while because of the stats issues, so if 1.1 fixes it then I guess im having a Warhawk party the night after Halloween.

I installed the pacth yesterday, it just showed up saying it needed to be installed so i did.
Anyways, this patch is great, i don't get any more network errors and i get connected much faster then before.

I was on last night and i got the 'server disconnected' error, then i checked my friends list and it said NONE of my friends were warhawk players...
i knew they were doing something...
so i cut it off and waited until today. now i see this.
hope it comes soon though.

I downloaded the 1.1 patch because I was prompted to yesterday. I just deleted my Warhawk game utility data on the XMB, as instructed in the post, and it had absolutely effect on my stats or rank. So don't worry about deleting the game utility date if you downloaded the patch early...We'll get the real thing soon enough. And if no one has logged on in a while, the Sony game servers are down until Saturday. You just have to reinstall the game when you load it up afterwards (I have the Blu-Ray edition). Despite the bugs this game still rules. Viva le Warhawk!

I was also wondering why after I installed the update I couldn't see any SCEA offical rank rooms.. it kinda sucked ass.. The game ran fine but I had no Offical Rank rooms!! I hope after deleteing this patch it will be fixed!
gumby @ Oct 25th 2007 4:42PM
yeah official ranked rooms come back after you delete and reinstall.
