If you were planning to set up shop with a few of your friends and make a pseudo-band, courtesy of
Rock Band, you may want to inform your friends that securing a pre-order or some other method of purchasing would be a good idea. Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello said the game will be in short supply, rather, they will be unable to keep up with demand for the game. Verbatim, he said: "If I were you, on the nineteenth of November, I would get in line outside your favourite retailer, because we've got one hot product." Is he being a little cocky, or offering friendly advice? Perhaps a little of both.
In addition to add-on songs "every week", the other SKU's to net you another instrument and other such things,
Rock Band really is going to be a hot item. If you want to get the PS2 version in December, that's your call, but getting to do all the online stuff with the PS3 and 360 versions is a lot more tempting. But, lining up? That's what people do for console launches and the
Halo games. It's your call, but if you've pre-ordered, you should be fine.

Uh SORRY but on the 19th "Uncharted:Drakes Fortune" comes out (24 hours early) and I will be standing in line with money ih hand for that, besides we already have Guitar Hero3.
Normo @ Nov 2nd 2007 2:23PM
If im correct Uncharted is out on the 7th of December.....
Normo @ Nov 2nd 2007 2:25PM
or does it have a different release day in America

I think this game will be a dud. They are over-hyping it way too much and I am not going to buy 100 lbs of gear just to play a game.

@ Normo, the demo will be on the NA store on Nov. 8, and the game out on Nov. 19

Really? I was really looking forward to Guitar Hero 3, but I'm looking forward to Rock Band 10x more. I know I'll end up playing through all the career modes, and I've got friends who want to play with me so we'll probably be multiplayering it up all night after I get it. (Plus I've convinced them to throw in a little bit of cash to help me out with the initial investment.)
I seriously doubt the game's gonna be a dud. It may not sell quite as well as GH3 in the beginning, because of the high price, but I think it'll catch up once they release the one-instrument bundles that cost less (they'd be insane if they didn't do that...)

Did he say the 19th of November? I thought it came out on the 20th. Does he mean the 19th at 11:59 pm?
I'm so confused.
