See the promise of PS Eye software
The first round of PlayStation Eye titles already put everything on the EyeToy to shame; it's not even a contest. To prove that, check out this new compilation video, which showcases, not only the graphical power of the PS3, but also the potential of the PlayStation Eye.
Europeans who own a PS Eye can already experience Tori Emaki and Mesmerize as they were just released yesterday on the PlayStation Network. Don't worry, though, fellow Americans, our time will come.

Topoq looked impressive, many of the others seemed better suited to being interactive screen savers rather than full blown games.
The EyeCreate software looks impressive however. It would be nifty to see if it could be used to record and edit gameplay videos/replays.

Does anyone know if an American Credit Card will work with the PSN Europe store? I'd love to get these Eye titles.

@2: Don't bother. I explained in another post why this won't work. If you can somehow get a prepaid UK card you can try it with a UK account though...

Maybe the awesomeness of Eye of Judgement has jaded me against these other downloadable titles, but I'm not very impressed. None of them look like anything that would be at all fun sober or for pkaying more than once.

Um, they don't sell pre-paid cards in the UK.

Did anyone else notice the Killzone Anime vid on the XMB at 3:40?

I think this is just the tip of the iceberg for wha they will have the eye to do. It's obvious that you don't need a wiimote for motion controls. Nothing against the wii.

Idiots put fresh water fish and salt water fish into the same virtual fish tank.

@Gambit07: Yes I did. I wonder what it could be...

I was so disappointed when there were no PSEye games on the PSN. I figured since Europe got some last week that we'd be next in line, but no luck. Please drop some on us statesiders next week, Sony.
