lol, who on earth had the bright idea to release it December the 27th (TWENTYSEVENTHS)?! Someone tried very hard not to get that into christmas-sales, I believe :-)

I want it bad...Star Ocean is my favorite series...I just don't have the money for something like that however =/...A pity really..

Nothing wrong with a December 27 release date. Those who received cold hard cash for Christmas could buy it for themselves. :D
