Warhawk 1.1 patch available today

We were informed that when this post goes live, the Warhawk patch will be readied. The game's servers will be down for maintenance as the 1.1 patch gets delivered to thousands of eager fans. The downtime will end at 9AM PST, 12PM EST and will include the following features:

Server-side
* Stat database stability improvements
* Improved server stability
* Max Clan limit changed from 32 to 64
* Viral Rank-up bug fixed and correct for players that were accidentally ranked up.
* "Time-in-Vehicle" Stats fixed so certain awards can now be granted properly.

Client-side (this is the one that you will actually download to your PS3)
* Stat connection, fetch/post fixes
* Significantly improved client connection stability
* Quad "????" Ping display bug fixed.
* Added support for Player-Ranked Servers.
* Game synchronization fixes due to fluctuating network conditions (packet-drop).
* Crash fixes for end of game and split screen.

We haven't played a game of Warhawk in a while, but this new patch is certainly incentive to dust off the old Blu-ray disc and start another set of matches. Hope to see you online.

I accidently got this update about a week ago and believe me its a major improvement over 1.0, having player ranked games makes it so that you could set up a quick 15 minute round in about 5 min with 12 players. pretty good

finally, the game was released too early if you ask me, as they needed to fix a bunch of stuff in a patch!

You say that now, but if the game had been released later, people would have complaining and whining like they do everytime a delay is announced.

Hey, I've just updated...

Now when I try and run Warhawk, it says "This content cannot be accessed on your account (80029513)".

It seems as the 'Owner' has been wiped, and I am signed into the PSN.

Anyone else had this issue?

"A heads up for UK Warhawk fans.
Just been on phone with Sony Customer Support and been told “We’re getting a lot of calls about people being told they can’t use the content from their systems, the servers are down until 4pm GMT but the patch should have downloaded fine and the game should work after that time”
Save you a bit of cash phoning them to be told the same thing as me..."

what do they mean by player ranked servers? you can play in your own ranked games?

@4 - the problem is due to the fact that the warhawk servers are down whilst they upgrade. So be patient. Personally I think this update sounds awesome and in fact Warhawk should be renamed to WhoaHawk!

It's not a server issue- the game thinks I am no longer the owner!

For info - the EU patch is now working. It will take a few games for the ranks to reset but it will work (although I'm a rank behind what I think I should be ;) ).

I you have downloaded the corrupted patch and get the 80029513 error, go back to the PSN store, go to your downloads list (in the top right) and redownload Warhawk - after a little while, when you restart the game, it will ask about the update again and it will now work!!

Just for all of you who are having problems downloading the update, NAT type 3 won't download it! You have to use NAT type 2.

I was a 2nd Lieutenant before I did the patch (which should NOT be my correct rank), and then after the patch it made me a Brigadier General!
WTF? I though this was supposed to adjust your rank to what it should really be, not make it worse!

How do you change fron NAT Type 3 to NAT type 2?

Mine is NAT Type 3 and at the end of the patch download (100%), I have an error message kind of: error during the download 80029513 (not exact, can't remember right now and can't access my PS3 at work...)

Thanks for answering and explaining quickly the difference between Type 3 and Type 2.

Heya. i ranked to second leutentant then i got set back to recruit.

It said they were expeirncign rank problems and temporary resets.

SO i ranked back up to 2nd leutenant.

Then rank fixid i assume anadded up togethr promoting me to what i expect is the correct level.

Now i just downloaded this new patch and im back down to rank 4. I have logged far more game time than mesasly rank 4.

This is very irratating. Can someone please let me know who to contact about this as it is ruining the point of the game for me and taking away from my enjoyment. thanks.
