Video of Devil May Cry 4 demo released on the tubes

A video of an upcoming Devil May Cry 4 demo has surfaced on the internet, courtesy of Korean gaming site Ruliweb. The video showcases the trademark gameplay the series is known for. Hopefully, we'll see a downloadable demo appear on the PSN some time shortly.

Hmm, seems to be the same demo I tried out in Tokyo when I was there around the beginning of september. There was absolutely no anti-aliasing and it looked horrible. Hope they fix it for this demo.

Hey Justin. Pretty much overnight. I was on yesterday and it was the old version. This new one is way better.

Is the game still slated for first quarter '08? I thought I saw on Gamestop that it had a Jan/Feb date? Can it be that close to completion...damn time has been flying lately!

Sweet! And hopefully by the time it releases on PSN I'll have my PS3 connected to the internet. I keep getting DNS errors.

This game is a must buy for me.

Are you running on wi-fi? If so it might be a router-end problem. Try fiddling around with a few of the router settings.

And I've never played a DMC game before, but this video looks like its a piece of cake to play - as in the foes don't seem to be fighting back all that much. Anyone play the other ones and have any idea what the AI is like?

I have 2 gripes.

1.) Whats up with the run animation. Why is he leaned so far foward and running so slow?

2.) The frame rate and alaising needs some serious attention.

First thing I noticed was how slow that dude looked. Not impressed and I really don't need short cutscenes showing me the environment. They are like "oh, look at all the work we put into the architecture". Thanks, but I'll look around when I want to. One thing games should never do is pull you out of the experience when you're in the middle of something. Lair is a good example of bad cut scene implementation in the middle of intense battling no less.
