Warriors Orochi gets ported to PSP
Koei's hack and slash adventure, Warriors Orochi is heading to PSP. Originally on PS2 and Xbox 360, Orochi combined the worlds of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors into one super-ultra-warrior-fest. The PSP version will hopefully receive some significant changes -- the original game was bashed by the critics.
Expect this historical time-bender in Japan next February.

I almost picked this up, but the reviews just couldn't be ignored. Since it's not that old at all, I'm not expecting any major revisions. I hope I'm wrong.

The DW and SW games sucked on the PSP...

The Dynasty and Samurai Warrior games sucked on *any* platform, any release, imho.

and in my opinion, you'd be correct.

Unless they do some cool new features, this is gonna be a waste of time.

Well the game could look graphically well on the PSP. It was mainly just the over repetition of doing the same slashing in the game that I DISLIKED.

Well yeah, the PSP versions of Warriors were underwhelming indeed. Even more than the console ones (I did enjoy Samurai Warriors on PS2 tho, I have a "thing" for japanese history)
So, If they do intend to port this one to PSP, hope they do it well :)
