American PSN updates for November 29th

We already knew that PAIN was due out today, but what else is gracing the US PSN Store today? The full release list is as follows

Lots of add-on packs today. Expect this to be a recurring thing, what with all the games that are compatible with downloadable content on the shelves nowadays. PAIN promises to be an interesting experience and no doubt we'll have a review up for you before the week is out. Until then, there's plenty of add-on content here to keep you coming back to your favourite games. Especially with the Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion.

Yeah it is pretty fun, worth the $10 and seems to have the ability to grow from a simply theam. I'm still in the tutorial, but worth it if your into sophmoric humor. And really who isn't unless your a big ol poontang

Getting PAIN sight unseen, just looks hilarious. The rest is pretty meh. I want my High Velocity Bowling, so I can show up the Wii.

$30 for the Oblivion expansion is pretty damn steep.

Finally get the GH3 DLC... when did the 360 get it, 2 weeks ago? Sheesh.

And please people, stop crying for PS1 games. Who buys a $600 high def console to play 10 year old games? I'd much rather Sony put its devs on getting more demos of current games and more current games period.

$30 is expensive compared to most other addon packs, but considering how big of an expansion it is, it's a total value.

Yes, a lot of the stuff comes to North America first, but considering all the countries, languages, and ratings boards SCEE has to deal with, it makes sense.

I'm buying the Oblivion expansion pack. I already beat the original and didn't want to shell out $60 for the GoTY edition..now I have a cheaper option. Thanks Sierra!

Agreed. If I'm going to pay the same price for a download as in store, I'll be getting me the disc.

Last time I checked you won't be able to trade in any of your downloaded games (sarcasm), but I'd be willing to bet that Gamestop, or others, will give me something for SI on BD.

Sony (or whomever) has to come with a better price point if they're offering the same content on disc. Charging the same amount is ridiculous. At least drop it $5 and give us some incentive to download it instead.

I don't trade in games and don't like having to disc swap, so paying for that convenience is great for me. Give me the choice any day, and I'll choose DLC.

First, I didn't blame Sony alone (although, I'm sure they have a strong say in how much stuff cost on their network), but since I guess you couldn't figure that out cause you're too busy coming up with lame ass attacks about goats. Damn dude, when did farm animals become original? Couldn't think of anything better? Second, who said anything about disc swapping? Do you own a PC? Probably not, probably never bought an expansion for something. Shoot, I'd bet the PS3 is the first time you probably heard of the word "patch", right? Or is the real reason you're so into downloads (since you made such a big deal out of this) is because you live out in BFE? Maybe you're the one that likes goats, huh farmboy? You obviously don't interact with humans much besides blogs otherwise you wouldn't be flappin' your gums so damned much.

Ok, obviously theres a reason that the price is higher, and its not because of foreign exchange rates, obviously, but exchange rates aren't the only factors that affect pricing of games.

Last time I checked, Canadian laws were more strict then the American ones so they might have licensing issues. Then theres tax which the PSN might not charge but the government might be charging Sony because they aren't a Canadian company.

I'm not saying that I know why, I'm just saying that there's a reason as to why they are charging more for the same content in the Canadian PlayStation Store.

THe reaosn is Because Europe has ALOT more Official LANGUAGES,. so it's alot more time consuming to REGIONLIZE it,. for north america it only needs english(its gets away with canada's French BS by not making a specific CND PStore aside for the price adjustment)/which right now is actually over charging canadian by 10%

still sucks that PS3 users get NONE of the downloadables stuff,. Really sucks esepcailly when you have the guide and KNOW what your Missing. But its great to at least see we're getting the Expansion.

OBLIVION is offically done now their latest and LAST downloadable content has alreayd come out,. will be interesting to see a Elder Scrolls V ,. this game was my first and now i'm hooked

You're right - PS3 owners didn't have to pay for horse armor or the Knights of the Nine expansions as well as other stuff since they bundled it together for FREE in the PS3 versions.

Horse armour isn't in the PS3 version of OBLIVION that's downloadable content,. NONE of the downloadable content has come nor is it going to come to the PS3 version ONLY,. STRESS ONLY the EXPANSIONS,. Knights of NINE in Oblivion, and Shivering Isles

Pain is a fun game for $10. I would have paid $20 for it because i am having fun with it. The world is very interactive and everything can be destroyed and there is alot to find on each level.

As for canadian prices, you all need to stop trying to sound intelligent when you dont know anything for sure. However if you ever look at the price of a magazine they list canadian price also and it always is more than the usa price. Everything in canada is priced higher, not just games.
