American PSN updates for December 6th

We're having flashbacks to the summer. To a time when the US constantly got great PSN updates and Europe ... didn't. Fine then - you keep your full games, PS1 classics, cool trailers and interesting demos. We're fine with our themes. Here's the full release list for today:

Pretty good, wouldn't you say? Wild Arms is a huge surprise and almost makes up for the complete lack of PS1 classics for the last month or so. Almost. For those of you in love with microtransactions, this week is a treat. Folklore, Motorstorm and Rock Band add on packs galore. But where's that Kane & Lynch demo? Good question. If you behave, maybe Europe will let you borrow it.

Why bother with the K&L demo? The game is terrible.

Same thing goes for Timeshit. Don't bother with the multiplayer demo. The single player is terrible.

I'll take full games that I can play with friends over 15-20 minute demos I'll play only once any day.
Oh, wait, I'm supposed to be supportive of my European brethren.

PSP-only content will be released through the PC-based Store only. Check PSP Fanboy for when the Store is updated.

Yes, but I am a Mac user, so I can't download directly from the store. I think I have to use the PS3 to get the content onto my PSP for now. So will the PSP games show up on the PS3 store?

Unfortunately, beats will not appear on the PS3. There IS a workaround. Purchase it on the web-based store. Then, go to your PS3 and enter Account Management -> Transaction Management. Go to View Download List and you'll see the PSP downloads there. Your PS3 will be able to download these.

Timeshift Multiplayer was last week and they removed it. This sucks. lol! I'll have to go get the Kane and Lynch off the EU store tonight then. I played the Timeshift Multiplayer a few weeks ago on the 360. Not that great.

Every 80GB sold in NA in the last 2 months included Motorstorm...(me included) so there are alot of NEW users to cater too.

What's up with the abridged Metal Gear Solid 4 TGS 2007 trailer? I'm glad we finally got the trailer but they took out the funniest part. I guess I can't complain much seeing as the content is free.

Yeah u can, i bought super stardust and it works on euro ps3, but downloadable content doesnt work, i bought one of the motorstorm tracks from us store but i have a EU motorstorm copy and it wont install.

None of my Rock Band instruments have broken, but I've heard that the company is being really good at replacing ones that do break.

Im just wondering if ps1 games bought from us store is region locked? i have euro ps3 and psp and im thinking of buying wild arms. i have a US account and i can buy us psn games. also, euro store hasnt been updated this week...

i get the same error when installing the timeshift multiplayer demo. and it took me longer than usual to download it.

I too had an error with the timeshift multiplayer demo, can't say I feel that bad though the first timeshift demo wasn't really all that good so whatever.
