We hope you like themes, because there's not a lot else available today, apart from a couple of add ons and a demo. In fact, today's update is even lacking trailers - not to mention a huge hole where the
Guitar Hero 3 downloadable content should be. Here's the full release list:
- Kane & Lynch demo (free)
- Motorstorm "Domino & Adventure" vehicle pack (£1.49)
- Folklore "The Origin of Belae" add-on pack (£1.49)
- Blazing Angels 2 Multiplayer trailer (free)
- Mesmerize theme (free)
- Tori Emaki theme (free)
- Heavenly Sword theme (free)
- Snakeball theme (free)
- Lemmings theme (free)
- Killzone 2 theme (free)
- Singstar theme (free)
Themes are all well and good, but where are the downloadable titles Europe has been promised for ages now?
Puzzle Fighter, Everyday Shooter - even
Blast Factor: Advanced Research hasn't been made available to us yet. As for the
Guitar Hero 3 downloadable content, the least said about that, the better. You were doing so well SCEE. What went wrong?

1st post!
The sound in the XMB changes when you have Mesmerize theme activated!
Ashley Mazillius @ Dec 6th 2007 3:48PM
Yep, I quite like that a few of the themes have different scrolling sounds. I like the Heavenly Sword theme with green waves background. None of those game related backgrounds! YUK!

Ugh, SCEE needs a major shake up in some high levels of management. Not necessarily Phil, but whoever is in charge of their store. Honestly, the US store is so awesome right now, I feel bad for our Euro friends. Well, I don't often spend too much time feeling bad, tend to be too busy downloading stuff.
LOL

And for the second week in a row, no update for Norway(European country last time i checked). Get a Grip Sony!!!!!!!!!!
angry @ Dec 6th 2007 3:36PM
This is beyond a joke. EU falls further behind each week. Sony Europe are idiots.
Jason @ Dec 6th 2007 3:40PM
SCEE are making a total arse up of the PSN.
Where is pain? The only pain I see, is the pain of disappontment every weeek, when we see the Euro PSN getting further behind...
Brian Sed @ Dec 6th 2007 3:44PM
Oh this is just so bad, US gets High Velocity Bowling, I am just getting so fed up with Sony, why do they have to split the community apart.
Metoo @ Dec 6th 2007 3:42PM
I was counting on the EU players for Super Puzzle Fighter. Not a lot of US people are playing online these days.
Trym @ Dec 6th 2007 4:32PM
No update in Norway... wtf?
Good thing i have an American account..
Popfrogs @ Dec 6th 2007 4:43PM
SCEE = masochists. You guys can always move to the US. ;)
franky @ Dec 6th 2007 5:40PM
:| haven't checked the store for several weeks now.

Sergorn @ Dec 6th 2007 6:03PM
When the hell are we going to get the add on packs for Flow and Blast Factor ?
This is just annoying :(
CrimsonAngel @ Dec 6th 2007 8:11PM

MR.COATES @ Dec 7th 2007 3:14AM
Can SOMEONE please state what on earth the problem with the GH3 PAL DLC is? It's getting a bit silly now...
PS3Lee @ Dec 7th 2007 4:18AM
No surprise, usual selection of nothing.
Alright, Kane & Lynch is probably worth a download I suppose, but where is PAIN, High Velocity Bowling, Everyday Shooter & High Stakes Poker etc....!!!!
Why do you keep doing this to us SCEE, what have we done to you apart from buy all your stuff at over inflated prices because we live in europe.
Ridiculous, an absolute joke....!
Brodiesan @ Dec 7th 2007 4:28AM
I ask this EVERY month and never get an answer. But I'm going to keep asking it until I do. I'm now directing this question to Jem Alexander who authored this article.
Why is European PSN content priced in sterling?
I don't mind if you're British and just "used to" showing prices in pounds, and maybe it's not practical to show the prices in sterling, euro, krona and all the other currencies that didn't adopt the Euro in 1999 but come on -you can AT LEAST show the prices in British pounds *and* Euro. More people in Europe use the Euro than sterling. PLEASE - price European content using more than one currency.
Thank you,
Brodiesan

The big question: I live in the EU. I have signed up to the US store. Can I download and play High Velocity Bowling on my EU PS3?
