Get double XP this weekend on Call of Duty 4

It's probably better we tell you now than halfway through the weekend. If you've been struggling to rise through the ranks in Call of Duty 4, fear not, as this weekend brings you good tidings of great joy -- multiplayer games from Friday-Monday will yield double experience so you can get all that stuff you've wanted twice as fast. This is especially useful for us with the PS3 version, since we've had a hiccup or two along the way with the online mode of the game. So, even if you have finals next week, forget about that! It's double experience, dude! If you don't, then you've got no excuse to miss out, do you?

Ya, two accounting finals, a financial management of the firm final, and a history final next week. I don't think I'll get any playing time in unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure this is specifically BECAUSE of those hiccups. As far as I know the 360 doesn't have double XP this weekend right? I could be wrong but my roommate said he didn't notice the message if it was there. I can't wait for my PS3 for Christmas! (my other roommate has one, and a neighbor leaves his in our room so we can play online CoD4 with 2 players together on 2 Aquos LCD's side by side. it's INCREDIBLE. hooray team objective!)

Ranked Major now (33) so I'll definitely be playing this weekend. Nice thing about having a 9 to 5 with weekends off.

I've been so frustrated with the online for this game that I barely even try to log on anymore. It's a shame too because it's very fun and addicting.

This is sweet and all but I expect it to be worse than ever this weekend because of it.

Hopefully, I'm wrong...

A hiccup or two? the damn game didn't save stats for like a week or two. I lost 12 levels. That's a mighty bad case of hiccups.

I have no idea why people are having issues on this game because I haven't AT ALL! Its cool that we're having Double XP be gratefull for it! ALSO if your having connection issues it's probably because you haven't opened your ports on your router!! They have the port numbers on the SONY ONLINE Menu and if you haven't gotten your router yet or just fed up with the one you have get this NETGEAR ROUTER

This one is sweet you can pick it up from best buy cheap or amazon even!! It will automatically OPEN YOUR PORTS and also works for the 360! THIS WILL GREATLY IMPROVE ALL YOUR ONLINE PLAY!! I had Linksys and I had to throw it out the window it was pissing me off and since I bought this I have not recieved "Downloading Content" or whatever message comes up and zero to lil lag!

Definitely pretty cool, but since Prestige really doesn't do shit for you I will just use it I guess to max out on the third level I am on....kind of a pain going through and getting all your stuff again, like last night, I needed 6 headshots to get my blue cammo back for the m16 and it took so many games, I was getting robbed, kept killing fools but for whatever reason I was just barely missing da head....man, was a nightmare lol
