PS3 Poll Police: Which Naughty Dog game do you want to see?

The Poll Police are back again and cruising the streets in an effort to sway the minds of one infamous development house known only as "Naughty Dog". We don't know how many victims this developer has gotten to purchase their games, but the victims we have spoken to claim to have felt "strong senses of happiness," or "a euphoric feeling, like I finally found my gaming goddess," even "I want to go treasure hunting and it's all Naughty Dog's doing!" Truly, a frightening ordeal. We've come to understand this Naughty Dog has currently expressed plans to create both an Uncharted sequel and a Jak and Daxter title for the PlayStation 3, but we are not sure which title they will strike first with. Our question to you: which would you want to see by Naughty Dog first?
We're being sarcastic above -- Naughty Dog has made some excellent games. If you thought we were being serious, you've really got to get that funny bone checked out because it might be fractured. We know the company wants to use the Uncharted engine in their next Jak and Daxter game, but they haven't decided what game to work on next. If Uncharted was a big enough hit and people demand it, they might thrust themselves into a sequel before working on something else, though we imagine that's unlikely -- they'll probably want to do something different first. Last week's poll results are after the jump.

That's it, then. Nobody really knows the reasoning behind Gerstmann's departure and the majority of the working world really doesn't care, but those in the gaming news and information sharing/gathering community feel he was fired for some wrong reasons. Over half of you felt this way, while nearly a third of you didn't know, so that's that. We'll be back next week, so as always, thanks for reading and a bigger thanks for voting!

Uncharted is more my style of gameplay, so id love to see that as the next installment from ND. But i would buy either one.

I agree, give me more Uncharted. Got that taste still fresh in my mouth and I'd like me some more! I'm excited to see where they will take the story next.

I voted for a new IP. I like Uncharted but I like playing new games instead of the same game over and over again.

Hence why I don't like Mario Party or Final Fantasy or Madden.

Anyways, I too would welcome either one if the Jak and Daxter game is like the first one; not set in the future and such. Come on Naughty Dog, bring back Gol and Maia.

You guys spelled Daxter wrong. It has an 'x' not a 'k'. Lol.

But I always preferred Ratchet and Clank over Jak and Daxter so I'm gonna go with Uncharted because its, as of now, my favorite game on the console.

Well, I am sure we will get both. They will probably do what insomniac did and alternate between the new ps3 franchise and the older franchise, like resistance then ratchet. Its more than likely going to be Uncharted then Jak, then Uncharted 2.

I agree with #5. Ratchet and Clank always had a slight edge over J&D, even though I really liked the 'universe' of J&D. Just wasn't my thing I guess. Sometimes a bit too unforgiving in the difficulty area, and it never really had me engaged for very long.

I would rather see a new IP though. A new Uncharted is already confirmed, so why vote for something you know will happen?

well i havnt broken down and bought Uncharted yet but i did like the demo, and i feel like Jak & Daxter have been straying alot from there roots in recent iterations (not to say they are bad, just not as good as the first). so i voted for a new IP even though i would probably buy a bag of Bigfoot vomit and hairballs if it had a Naughty Dog label on it.

Id take jak and daxter over ratchet anyday. Those games just had a little more variety, and i didnt care for how shooter heavy the ratchet games are (even though jak 2 added a great deal of shooting to the mix). I just feel the adventure aspect of jak games to be more appealing.

I'd be forced to invest in a PS3 if they made a new Jak and Daxter... the first one is the best Mario 64 clone ever and the other two have neat stories and are some of the best platformers out there... plus they're a nice challenge if I recall.

I voted for a new IP. The reason I got a 360 was the new faces. Bioshock,Gears of War,Dead Rising,Blue Dragon. The reason I didnt get the Wii was because it was the same shit over again. ANOTHER Mario,ANOTHER Mario Kart,ANOTHER Metroid ect ect.

I got the PS3 and 360. I want a new IP. Uncharted was good,let's bust out your next new idea!

I loved Uncharted, don't get me wrong, but I really want to see what ND can do with a Jak and Daxter game on the PS3. I'd really like to see a sequel to Uncharted, but a Jak and Daxter sequel is something I'd like to see next year. I love the whole universe and seeing what they can do with it on PS3... it's going to be great if they do make one.

	I need some more Drake -- Uncharted 2.
	It's time to bring back Jak and Daxter on PS3!
	They should make another new IP.
