Get your Devil May Cry 4 video fix!
We've got five, count 'em, five videos of Dante and/or Nero in action from the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 today. You'll notice a lot of Swordmaster and Gunslinger moves, though not strung together in any flashy combos. Oh well, no biggie. We've got more videos after the jump, so don't be afraid to let yourself "blast off" and get a little "stylish".
May we present you with the bridge fight -- Nero watching and then speaking with the saucy vixen, Gloria.
Nero versus Dante, a classic battle. Chances are you downloaded a video quite similar to this from the PS Store.
Fighting plants is always fun, especially when you get to bicycle kick giant seeds into the plants' face. Beware the loading screen! Something we don't like seeing too often.
Who doesn't like playing in the snow? Ice demons, that's who. They play all right, but they play dirty. That's the last of 'em, folks. Hope you enjoyed.

I don't know. This time it just doesn't feel like DMC. It just seems like Onechambura mixed with Dynasty Warriors and Cabelas'. Weird, and in a bad kind of way.

Loading screens? We have a hard drive! Damn I hate ports.

...and once again, the longer this game takes to get out the more it reminds me of a last gen game.

Another multiplatformer...I'm really getting blase about multiplatform games made with the xbox360 archicture in mind, even if the PS3 has slightly better framerates or whatever or if the PS3 is the lead platform.
After seeing the lively, bustling worlds of Resistance, Ratchet, Motorstorm, and finally Uncharted, I'm beginning to notice, severely, that the multiplatform games tend to have worlds that are overly deserted, barren.
Seriously, in games like Uncharted and Ratchet, you have tons and tons of objects blowing up and moving around -- independentaly, RANDOMLY, and simultaneously -- all in one screen, probably thanks to the CELL. The worlds are lively. They're breathing. The xbox360 games and multiports just don't match anymore with perhaps only 3 or 4 objects or enemies onscreen that move in a more predictable manner and linear fashion.
In the end, PS3 exlusives tend to have longer game play, larger color palettes, larger number of objects moving indepently and randly and simultaneously among themselves onscreen with much better AI.
Enough with the Multiplatforms...
Unless the gameplay and / or story is really remarkable, I wouldn't approach a multiplatform anymore, learning my lesson with that COD4 experience...!!! Arrrgghh...!!!!
GRAW2 is probably the only mutliplat game that I like, and that's more due to the art direction, gameplay, music, and skillful lighting rather than raw technical prowess of the game.
Ratchet, Uncharted, Resistance, Motorstorm represents the PS3. Ratchet 2, Resistance 2, Grand Turismo 5, MGS4 should all impress.
Please do not hold up the multiplats to speak on behalf of the PS3 any longer. BLEH...!!!
The exclusives speak on behalf of the PS3, not the 360 bastard child multiplats.
I didn't pay money for the PS3 to play mediocre graphics xbox360 games...!!! Only the PS3 exclusives will satisfy me. Multiplats might become satisfactory if and only if the PS3 begins to have a larger user fanbase and the developers don't have to placate the xbox360 fanboys by making the two games look similar to one another. Until then, the xbox360 will be our bottle neck, jamming up the graphics freeway....blocking the graphics freeway. It's the slowest car, but it insists on staying up front.
But the tide is turning...the smoking, overheating lemon junk car is pulling off the road with the unveiling of the 40GN ps3. Traffic can finally resume its fast pace again.
Thank you.

This game isn't a port, PS3 is the lead SKU. It's had loading times even from when it was still PS3 exclusive.

I like the fact that they brought back trish and lady in devil may cry 4. And I always thought that the story lines in the games were cool as well. can't wait to get this for my ps3
