Hot Shots Golf 5 gets March 2008 release

One of the best PS3 games to come out this year never made it to the States. Hot Shots Golf 5 tore up the Japanese sales charts thanks to its attractive graphics, accessible gameplay and ultra-cute characters. PS3 Fanboy has learned that SCEA will finally release one of our favorite games in the States in March 2008. We're certain that a downloadable demo will strike the PSN before that, though.

Hell YES!!! I love this series, and I've been playing the Japanese demo for months.

The Japanese demo rocks and it's about time they released this overseas. It's a fun little accessible game. The learning curve isn't too steep (except for the putting uphill) and the graphics are nice and cartoony.
If you think this is going to be a Tiger Woods competitor, look elsewhere. If you're a fan of the series (Everybody's Golf) then you'll enjoy it.

i imported the japanese version of the game a few months ago and it's awesome. great game play and really unique online system with tee times and everything. def. a must have for anyone who digs the series.

IT'S ABOUT FRIGGING TIME SCEA!!!!
What bonehead at SCEA took this long to get this game over here? I really want to know so I can knock him over the head with something.

WHERE THE HELL IS PES2008 FOR THE US?
I just do not understand what the delay is for sports games. There just is not that much translation to be done, there is no excuse for the ridiculous amount of time US gamers have to wait for Hot Shots and PES2008.

Will the ultra-real physics of skirts be included. I still have to play Hot shots golf, was looking for the demo on JAP PSN but seems they removed it...curses being a late 60gb adopter

I'm worried they used this time to remove the Japanese characters and replaced them with (in my opinion) dull, Americanized players.
Oh well..if they did, at least there's a lot of other games out there so it won't be too bad to pass it up.

I've never seen this shot, it looks amazing. The dynamics are correct, I would have assumed that while they did green good, they couldn't do yellow. Can't wait to see this.
