Echochrome includes a level editor

We'll be getting our hands on echochrome tomorrow. However, early previews suggest that the Escher-inspired puzzle game includes a level editor, so that players can craft their own diabolical designs. The interface, we assume, is similar to the original PC program that this upcoming game is based on. (Check it out here.)

While the game will hit both PSP and PS3 in Japan, MTV has learned that the game is only confirmed as a PSN (for PS3) download in the US. Hopefully, the kind folks at Sony will realize that a downloadable PSP game through the PC Store will be ideal for handheld owners. Stay tuned for more.

I wish Andrew would have come out and said : releasing on the psn tomorrow...

We'll be getting our hands on echocrome tomorrow kind of sounds like ps3fanboy will but not the masses.

Can you clarify for us Mr. Yoon?

Clarification. By we, it means PS3 Fanboy, not the general public. Sorry about the confusion. The game will be released in Q1 next year.

do you know how much will it cost? because that seems like a pretty awesome game although it reminds me too much to the other thing that's been around the internet for a while... oh well...

When you say "we" will be getting our hands on this tomorrow, is that the royal "we", or is this showing up in the PSN for download tomorrow? I've been eagerly awaiting this since E3, but have heard virtually nothing else about it until today, so it would be a great surprise to get it as an early X-Mas gift!

Aaah! Saying "we will be getting x" is very dangerous without clarification. It's like going to Defcon 3 in the gaming world. I guess we regular folk have to stand down for now....

@watcher Yeah, I was pretty bummed too, though I realized that "we" was not going to be including me. Great news on level editor though. That should be fun.

Just recently started putting my PS3 to good use. Bought it on launch day (to show my support for the Cell proc) but just recently bought my 1080p TV. Now, I can't get enough of the beauty of BD films and games. (Just beat Lair and moved onto Ratchet and Clank)
