PixelJunk Monsters easier than Racers, third game coming
The team at Q-Games have learned a lesson from PixelJunk Racers -- they tuned that game to their own skill set and as a result, it was perceived as too hard for many players. Monsters will have a much more manageable difficulty curve so more people will be able to get into it and enjoy it.
PixelJunk 1-3 is already up and in progress. They've enlisted a DJ to assist in the music whose rhythm creates "life" of some sort -- the title isn't going to be a rhythm game, but from what Cuthbert says, music is going to play a significant role. It's a "complete experiment" so expect something a bit outlandish, yet accessible. We'll keep you tuned into more Cuthbert and PixelJunk news as it surfaces.

PJ Monsters really doesnt look very interesting...I'd love to get an rts on the ps3 but this game doesnt even look like an rts...maybe pj should invest more dev time and make a higher quality product rather than churning out cheap games...

A Bundle of all 3 PJ games on PSN would be cool to see when all 3 are out

The remote play option for this game is a selling point.

I like Racers and I think this one looks good too. It's interesting they said PJR is too difficult.... I had been thinking maybe I just suck :) I wish the damn thing had a manual.... anywhere, even online! I can't find a manual to save my life and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong in half the race types.

PixelJunk Racers looked awesome from the screenshots, but then I tried the demo and had no idea how to play it. Some instructions would've been nice.

Yeah and Cuthbert said before they should have released the full game as a demo with a time limit.

Never had any problems understanding how to play Racer, even with the ~20 different gameplay modes it tells you what you need to do and if thats not enough information you should have it figured within 2-3 attempts. I just need to unlock the last challenge by getting gold on a full row (speed demon only one needed, 100+ on both is a bit unlikely).
Still, having grown up loving the overhead racing type games, because that was pretty much all the average computer could offer i've always liked the look of it. When i first saw the pics it looked great, then the videos disappointed me because it was simply lane hopping rather than having full control over the car, but when the demo came out and the speeds that you get up to it just provided a lot of fun for me, theres quite a lot of challenge in there if it floats your boat, having to look 1/4 to 1/2 the track in advance to know how to react in a split second... personally i found it fun and focusing, although my friends dont really have the patience to play it which is a little disappointing as i think thats where it would become more interesting with 3-4 user cars flying around like idiots :)
