Operation Omega Dawn already available? For free? [UPDATE]

We're in two minds whether to post this news because the last thing we want is for Incognito to lose money on the sterling work they've put into Operation Omega Dawn for Warhawk. Unfortunately, it seems that some people are able to already download the expansion which isn't supposed to go live tomorrow. Not only that, but the update is listed as free and removes no money from your PlayStation Store wallet.
Hopefully Incognito will notice this soon and will fix things so that no-one else can download the expansion early. Yesterday's PlayStation.Blog post stated that the game servers will be offline for six hours today while they "roll out" the patch (which is now available, by the way). There's just under two hours to go until this maintainence is due to be completed, yet the server list is as populated as ever.
[UPDATE] It seems that the price glitch has been sorted out, but the booster pack itself hasn't been taken down. That is to say, Operation Omega Dawn has been released a day early. Go get!

Damn it! Why am I stuck at work when something like this is happening?! Oh well, here's hoping that those who get it free enjoy the Christmans present from Incognito.

I just down loaded it at 9:07 am MI time and it debited my wallet just fine. I don't mind paying 9 bucks for some awesome new game play. This new Map Is HUGE!!

My friend phoned me and said he's playing the new map. By the time I got home and wanted to download it, it wasn't available as an option, saying no new downloads available.
Here in the UK, there's quite a few people playing the new map hosting their own servers. None of the official servers are online as I speak.
Man, he's playing new expansion pack and for free!!!!!

Downloads button in Warhawk shows Omega Dawn expansion for $7.99.
So apparently it's been fixed. The only question now is why did they release it early?

I am in the UK, I managed to get the new content, played a couple of games ( wicked map !! ), went out to message a few of the clan, they got the update but nothing to download, this was within moments of me downloading it, it seems playstation made a big whoopsie and released it before time, and it seems that the few that were on line at this time got it for free !!!! ( i did anyway ) so what do you think will happen, can sony put your wallet in the red ?? or can they invalidate this content for the freebie downloaders??? Just so you all know though, WHAT A WICKED MAP, SEE YOU AT MIDNIGHT WHEN IT OFFICIALY GOES LIVE ... HA

Guys, the expansion is available for download on the Warhawk store (Came with the new update) it SHOULDN'T get onto the PS Store until tomorow

Love the new map. Looks like they made a caouple other changes too. On the ranked servers re-spawning now takes 5 seconds and if you grab the flag and are not shooting, in a tank, or in a 4x4 the enemy can not see you on their map, similar to rules when you don't have the flag.
New map = awesome, but to be honest, I'm not blown away by the new dropship.

Am I the only one that has a Dualshock 3 omfg the rumble is very specific, not thrown on like Uncharted (which I LOVE) , Warhawk and Motorstorm take full advantage of rumble

its sweet :D, the main servers need to run it now. :) which will probably be tomorrow when it hits the psn store. I like how they got around the PSn update and released it early through their patch and game haha :D

Guys please help.....I downloaded the pack, go into the game....In the omega map I can see that theres some kind of icon with a lock on it....I get unto the game but then it tells me that I DONT have the game.......Suggestions!!!!!

Install it like a regular old game from the XMB.
Honestly, I don't think that the dropship works out very well unless you have at least 10 people in the game. Otherwise, it can be a bit unbalancing.

The dropship is great fun, actually. We just got shot down with six men aboard that changed into six skulls on the map the same moment. ;)
Was nice to come back to Warhawk, has been a while since I last ran it. The hours pass so quickly when you have found a server with fun people (unranked today, but okay for some practice).
