PORTER reveals pricey new PSP cases

SCEI has unveiled four new cases from PORTER. These pricey cases are fetching a mighty 9500 yen (about $90). That'll take a bite out of any PSP fan's wallet. The Japanese promotional site has a few promo pics of people using the case ... and don't they look oh-so-happy?

Well clearly, buying a case for 90$ better guarantee that everyone will be happy with the purchase :)

I am starting to get kind of pissed off at companies making PSP accessories. I mean, recently they have been doing things like selling the old battery for $40 and make it seem like a great deal, and now this. Those bags arn't $90 quality. They look like they should be $20.

But hey, kudos to any company that can find clever ways to separate people from their cash.

I think they were handwovern by Tibetan Monks who lined them with Platinum.

Clearly, the case is worth 90$, just over half of what someone paid for the PSP, lol. wow I just realized how much these cases are in regards to the PSP. Totally not worth it.

Good lord. Soft cases don't even give that much protection even.

My dad got a cell-phone case that looks above the same for like less than $10 recently. 90 bucks...

Porter is actually an expensive to begin with designer bag company.

You`re paying for the brand name, not the bag itself. People who are fans of Porter will probably want this. Normal people? Never.

It's a Japanese bag and accessory company, often called "Head Porter." It's sometimes expensive, and that's that. It's nice quality and they always spark little trends in fabric and pattern use. If you think it's too expensive, they aren't looking to have you as a customer anyway, so win-win all around.

I bought a Porter case for my PSP last year, it was $90. It's a limited edition made with the Hong Kong streetwear shop Clot:

I prefer the design of mine as it's more 'military' looking, but these new ones look OK too.

If you don't understand why people buy things like this, that's OK, you're more sensible and you probably don't care about this type of fashion or item. Just don't get confused when your kids hate you for making them wear cheap knock-off Payless sneakers because, like, who would pay over $100 for sneakers when these $29 ones work just fine?
