We honestly didn't expect to see
Toy Home releasing today, but we're sure glad it did - on both sides of the pond. Releasing the PS1 version of
Warhawk for download is certainly very cute of Sony. Now stop reading and start downloading - there's a lot to get through!

After downloading the Snakeball demo, you are able to buy it too.
The Snakeball full game is available too. With Online play and all!
Flame @ Dec 20th 2007 8:27PM
Woohoo Snakeball - this one looks fun. How are you liking it?
Tim Parsons @ Dec 20th 2007 7:39PM
Anyone notice that they added a PLaystationEYE section on the Playstation Store but Operation Creature Feature has been taken off the Store,. wonder why,. sucks to be anyone who wanted it but was waiting for whatever reason
Solace @ Dec 20th 2007 7:44PM
It's still there.
If you buy something, it goes from the Store to your Download list.
upz @ Dec 21st 2007 10:43AM
That is going to give away a lot of people in the future.
"Hey, they took down the video on HD herpes at-home treatment. Sucks for anyone who wanted to buy it."
KosmoCrisis @ Dec 20th 2007 7:47PM
I don't see the Warhawk Theme on this list either. There was a lot of stuff that came out today, that's probably why it took so long today for it all to become available.
Solace @ Dec 20th 2007 7:49PM
Go to the themes category. They should be there.
Two PAIN themes should be there too (I think they said on the blog)...
Tim Parsons @ Dec 20th 2007 8:13PM
@3 Solace
If that's the case why is PAIN still showing up, i purchased that one and it's still on the store
Solace @ Dec 21st 2007 1:11PM
The game doesn't show up except under its main title header category thingie.
The tag which says "GAME" doesn't appear any more in the main section after you buy something.
If you're seeing it, you're smoking troll crack...
NACHO @ Dec 20th 2007 8:34PM
damn that's one of the best updates ever (specially for ppl with an eye)
still, i can't help but question the setup of the PSS after the update. Now that there's actually things worth getting on the store, i personally think it's time for a makeover. I can't find half the things on that list ^^
Tim Parsons @ Dec 20th 2007 8:40PM
can't find it? are you serious how much more prefectly categorized could the Playstation Store be
though it would be nice to have a Recent Updates section that would hold all the updates (in addition to their default categories) and only show the items that are new for the week accessed
Popfrogs @ Dec 20th 2007 10:34PM
@Tim: That's what I was afraid of. When the store gets tiny updates they all fit on the front page. If Sony ever learns how to synchronize the lame RSS update on the PS3, they can tell us about releases _the day they release_.
Jason @ Dec 21st 2007 10:38AM
There is a recently added list at the top right of the home page.
Popfrogs @ Dec 21st 2007 11:30AM
@Jason: I know, but like I said, when there's a big update that list is over full and you don't see the entire list. Like yesterday.
RatBoy @ Dec 20th 2007 8:50PM
So... is the original Warhawk worth downloading? I ask this as someone who never played it, so nostalgia won't get me very far. I have been very much enjoying the new Warhawk though.
Kspraydad @ Dec 20th 2007 9:39PM
GamePro PlayStation Jan, 1996 4.5 out of 5 90
IGN PlayStation Nov 26, 1996 8.7 out of 10 87
It has that awful code system once you beat a level instead of a proper save...if you can live with that its a good game. Like all the PS1 games though it is having it on the PSP that is cool to me.
Dehshizknight @ Dec 21st 2007 2:17AM
@Kspraydad
Yeah, that's why I don't see any point to the Wii's Virtual Console. Well, the DS doesn't have expandable memory (on the first generation) so I can understand. I just don't like paying full price for a game that I played years ago. Games for $5-7 would be much more worth-while.
Jason @ Dec 21st 2007 10:28AM
If these updates continue with their current trend (later and later every Thursday) we'll be getting them on Saturday. I liked when they hit early enough for me to start downloading and installing them with remote play at work, then they'd be ready when I got home. Now they don't even go up till I'm home.
Solace @ Dec 21st 2007 1:13PM
in case you haven't noticed, there's a trend:
late updates = big updates
early updates = "meh" updates
it's a trade off.
Jason @ Dec 21st 2007 1:22PM
Hardly, the biggest update I remember was when the Uncharted demo hit and it went up at like 3 or 4 CST.
Solace @ Dec 21st 2007 2:33PM
i'm not talking "biggest titles", i'm talking amount of content.
they even mention it on their blog post that this is their biggest publish ever.
yes, there may have been updates with higher profiles, but this is their biggest update evah! ...er...ever...
True_Darknight @ Dec 21st 2007 2:16PM
Ok so it's all nice that they have the Original Warhawk to download for hmmm 5.99. Thing is this. All PS3 play PS games. (yes you 40GBers you too). Why would you pay to download it if you can get it for like 2-3 dollars at bargain bins or even have them already. And now with the new update you can remote play them thru a PSP??? Why oh why do they keep getting money from certain people?? huh?
Anyways... Happy Holidays!!!
Solace @ Dec 21st 2007 2:35PM
for those of us who didn't have a PSone when some of these games came out, we have two choices:
1. take your chances on some dinged up used game in some cluttered pile
or
2. pay a few dollars more for a game that'll work on your PS3 AND PSP whereever you go without the lag from remote play or requiring internet connection.
Xoonaka @ Dec 27th 2007 5:59PM
Sometimes it's really hard to find certain games too, especially from the earlier eras. It's only going to get harder to find it as time goes on. $3 or so extra dollars is worth not going through the trouble...to me, anyway.
