Bleach: Heat the Soul 5 website opens

Strangely, America has yet to experience the popular PSP-exclusive Bleach brawler, Heat the Soul. The franchise is already getting its fifth iteration in Japan, promising even more characters and gameplay modes than ever before. The site includes a few images from the game, and reveals the very first characters that'll join this latest outing. Unsurprisingly, Ichigo, Rukia, and Hitsugaya are confirmed characters. However, Cifer also joins the ranks in this new adventure. We can't wait to see what other characters are added to this please-bring-it-to-America fighting game.

I imported BHTS4 ..it was an awesome game, I plan on getting this one as well. You don't need to know Japanese to enjoy it

Same, i thought HTS4 would be a terrible license cash in...

It turned out to be a great cash in....

Waiting with bated breath for teh sequel...

Why hasn't this series been released in the US already? It's insane. These games are great and whoever is in charge of Bleach in the US keeps ignoring them. I havn't imported one already just because I can't read japanese... and even tho the game can still be played, I wouldn't enjoy it as much w/o understanding what those guys are saying. I like to have some motivation behind my single-player battles.

I fear tho, that if they DO bring the series to the US they'll bring the first game, which is awfully outdated, and of course no one will buy it... resulting in no more US releases.

So if they consider bringing any of the games statesides, hope they bring at least a game from HTS3 onward. How hard can it be to translate the text? Japanese voices are fine with me, they kept them for the DS release, didn't they?

What a coincidence, I just unlocked all the characters in HTS4. It is easy and a little more boring compared to HTS3 (but a lot more gameplay and characters).

After reading all the manga and watching all the episodes, I was really confused as to who this "Cifer" was until I googled it. I think most of us refer to him as "Ulquiorra."

I wonder if HTS5 will be based off of the manga or the anime. HTS4 was kinda ahead of both, showing glimpses of unseen attacks (like Ichimaru Gin's bankai? or another release of shikai). But since the manga currently shows the 4th squad captain in battle, I hope she becomes a playable character instead of a helper.

The english version of the bleach anime has different names for the characters, right? And if the voice actors are English dubbed, I think I would rather import the Japanese version. (What's it like on the DS and Wii versions?)
