Deal of the Day: Cheap PS3 games at Gamefly
Despite GameStop being the biggest video game retail chain in this universe, Gamefly routinely has much better deals on used games. Plus, the online rental chain always guarantees boxes and manuals with its games, something that GameStop doesn't do.
To prove my previous assertion, Gamefly is having a sale for the ages with free shipping on every game until Jan. 4. Plus, if you're already a subscriber, you'll get 5-to-10 percent off each game. Here are just a few of the great deals to be had.

NO. The PS3 port is awful.

I am curious as to what people's experiences have been with Gamefly. Would you recommend using it? Are the discs all scratched up and trashed out? It seemed to be a little bit on the expensive side.

I usually end up with scratched discs, but they play.

I'm using Gamefly. So far, all the discs I received are find and they play well. However, it takes AT LEAST two days to receive the disc (I'm in Texas). My friend who is in Wisconsin, it took a whole week for him to receive a game.

I meant they are FINE

Gamefly is pretty good. I've rented and played several short PS3 games from them (Heavenly Sword, Stranglehold, The Darkness). I wish they had more shipping facilities closer to the East coast, but they are okay. I haven't had a problem with the discs.

yeah but you know what? the hell with used games... they dont work well and the reason they sell them is because their scratched and no good. used games are about as crappy as they get.

Well, that would be the beauty of the unscratchable coating on blu-ray discs. You can scrub the underside with steel wool and it will still play.
G-MAN74 @ Dec 27th 2007 8:56AM
What about The Bigs, is it worth $20?
SteveMB @ Dec 27th 2007 6:35PM
No, that game is horrible. What's so good about this deal? I can find these games cheaper on eBay...

your lucky in the us, here in Sweden the games cost at least 100$ or 80$ if your lucky.

I picked up All-Pro Football for $10 already on Amazon...a few weeks ago.

If you feel like having no life for a week or a month, that's a good price for Oblivion. Make sure you clear your calendar first. Then you can pick up the Shivering Isles DLC for $30 from the PSN when you're finished.

Is the gamefly site down for anyone else?
