Sex, swords and violence: a new Yakuza 3 trailer

We love the new Yakuza 3 (aka Ryu ga Gotoku KENZAN trailer. Why? Well, not only does it have awesome J-rap background music, it shows a lot of potentially fun gameplay. Yes, swordfights are good in any language. But, there's so much more than mindless killing. It appears that there are a number of traditional minigames for you to take part in. There's also a hilarious Leisure Suit Larry-esque romance aspect to the game as well. There's so much to seemingly do and see in the game -- this really is the Japanese equivalent of GTA. And unlike Rockstar's new effort, this one is exclusively ours. Nice!
PS3 owners that have access to the Japanese PS Store are highly encouraged to download the HD version from the Store. For everyone else, check this trailer out now.

Holy ****!! That looks freakin' amazing! I haven't gotten a japanese account yet, but I think I may do that tonight so I can get the HD version to show my friends.

this is a really japan equivilent to gta unlike how gta is set this one has a better genre and setting .gta 1234 all take place in liber city and this one changes up all the time

Up until this point i wasnt too sure about the title but i think this trailer has really changed that. On the subject, does anyone know the release date (If it has one)?

Wowowoweeewa. That was amazing, very long too, although you'd think they could have put some GP footage in being how long it was. And that Jap Rap seemed very out of place in the trailer.
Dam it looks good though.

If you look at the Japanese store, the trailer is different, and actually shows gameplay! But they don't have this trailer on the Japanese store :(

Is the main character THE Myamoto Mushashi?
