Birth by Sleep looks good. And, new details and screenshots from Famitsu make it even better. The article highlights two new features of the new PSP
Kingdom Hearts game's battle mode: the Command meter and Fatal Mode. Players are encouraged to battle furiously, as each attack they execute will fill the Command meter. Once the Command meter fills, players will be able to launch a special attack (which can supposedly be custom mapped).
Terra (the guy that looks a bit too much like Zack from
Crisis Core) also has an extra mode: Fatal Mode, which unsurprisingly delivers one-hit kills to enemies. Make sure you check out the screenshots by visiting

I hope this PSP game blows away that other KH game put out on the SP: Chain of Memories. That whole battle card system stunk. This looks promising.

This looks much better than the KH: Chain of Memories that was released on the Nintendo SP. Glad they ditched the card-based battles.

I thought they were keeping the card base battles for this installment of the series? I was confuse by the decision because the PSP could handle normal fights.

This game is coming along very well, is anybody else looking at 358/2 Days if so I think the 14th member is Aqua, also Aqua hasnt been in any screenshots has she apart from the TGS trilogy announcement. Anyone else think that the ending of Birth By Sleep will reveal Kingdom Hearts 3 ? I thought seeing as it's set before Kingdom Hearts 1, they may possibly remake Kingdom Hearts 1 onto PS3

All I know is that this game + Crisis Core will make for an awesome year for the psp, especially for the action RPG fans.

why is it that everyone compares completely different games if they happen to be in the same series? kh:com was a very good gba game. i would recommend it to anyone.
the ds game is a sequel to that, but not in gameplay. the psp is just a pure prequel. the phone game (come on square, please, ur killin me) is a sequel that might not have significance.
this game will rock my socks. between this and ffvs13, nomura is making me one happy fanboy.
btw, does anyone have any idea when its supposed to come out? i thought only the ds game had any tentative release.
