Dynasty Warriors 6 trailer -- now with Koei-style English!

Dynasty Warriors 6 is coming -- we've seen the above trailer before, but it was in Japanese. Koei never has been the best at getting quality voicework done in their games, but we don't mind since that's such a small part of the button-mashing fun. Still, if any of you are curious about how your favorite characters will sound in the American version (and if you'd rather import the Japanese), here you go. It all looks familiar, but a bit sharper. We're cool with that.

its actually really cool to see people that actually like these kind of games... i've been playing dynasty warriors for like ever and ive always liked it .. cant wait to see the 6th one,

fiI have also been waiting for this game my friends hate it but ive been playing the series sence i was 5 or 6 so im not going to stop just b/cause they hate, besides the friends i have that do like it are a pretty loyal group they played sence iI introduced them to it.
my fav characters:
Shu-Ma Chao or Zhao Yun its close
Wu-Zhou Yu
Wei-Xaihou Dun
other-i liked Fu Xi and hate Lu Bu because everyone likes him and he is to powerful

yep i cant wait untill dynasty warriors 6 comes out iv been waiting for it in ages iv liked dynasty warriors since i was 13 years old so im not going to give up my faveourite characters are

I agree, I absolutely love the Dynasty Warriors series with Lu Bu being my favorite character of all time. I actually would love to see a new PS3 version of Romance of the Three Kindoms more than anything.

Wise sayer... you speak the truth. Sold. I was just playing Warriors Orochi for the 360 and I kept wishing it was a true Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors, instead of a peculiar amalgamation. DW6 is the first true next gen Warriors game (instead of a last-gen port or a cash in on Gundam).

It's got a lot to live up to though, after the surprisingly good Samurai Warriors 2!

Even though I love Dynasty Warriors, I still say they pay one guy $50 to do all the voices. I'm joking of course, but the voices are annoying most of the time.

Agreed. The voices are so annoying. How much English text does the Japanese version have? I was just over in Singapore/Malaysia and I'm wondering if I should have got it over there. Saw the awesome collector's edition too!

In some of the previous versions, they have allowed you to use the Japanese voices with subtitles. I prefer this option a lot. Even if the Japanese voices aren't really any better as far as acting, they are less distracting when I can't understand them.

Anyway, I'm digging this one. DW series is a fun co-op game.

I wish they'd put a Mandarin track on there. I mean, Japanese is better than English for games like this, but cmon, we're talking about Chinese history here!!
