Do you trust third party batteries? (Because we
don't.) If you do, you may be interested in two new battery options discovered on DealExtreme. The first will have any green freak squeeing with glee. It's a
solar-powered rechargeable battery solution. We don't know how well it works, but it seems fairly reasonable at $30. The other option is a
mega-powered battery cradle for use with the PSP-2000. Supposedly, it'll offer a whopping 4800mAh of power for only $14. Something smells suspicious, potentially
burning, at a price like that.

what happened to the psp in the pic? it looks like its been modded to be a rader. is it a solar power thingy? it seems that you have to install it physically on your psp

That's not a PSP in the pic. It's the solar-powered battery kit that attaches to the bottom of the PSP, but is hinged so you can easily swap out UMDs without disconnecting it.

This is completely off topic. But I thought I'd comment before my eyes bleed too much.

I wonder if the solar power recharger will work with the sony batteries.. That would be pretty cool, and possibly worth $30..
