The PS3 has a shocking number of games coming out in 2008. In the next few pages, we will attempt to highlight some of our most anticipated games of 2008. But watch out! EA's next Burnout game takes the franchise into a whole new direction. Now, racers are able to roam anywhere they want in the massive Paradise City. With a simple press of a button, gamers can jump on the PSN and race against their friends. This is the first major PS3 game of the new year, and judging from the quality of the playable demo, this one is going to be a winner.

Capcom's new Devil May Cry game reminds us why we loved the franchise in the first place. Huge combos and flashy moves look great on the PS3. Although it's merely a sampling of the final game, it contains a huge number of cars and tracks that'll make any car enthusiast swoon. The hot new GT TV feature allows racing fans to catch programs never aired in the US. Watch for this on the PSN and at retail.

The original Condemned was one of Xbox 360's best launch titles. Although flawed, it had tons of great ideas. The sequel promises to make the fighting system even more robust, and the detective work a bit more engrossing. This creepy detective-brawler certainly adds a macabre flair to the beginning of the year.
