God of War trailer has us screaming: THIS IS PSP!!!
Can this game get any more beautiful? It seemingly does every time we see it. It looks stunning in screens, but looks even more gorgeous in motion. You may think it's a PS2 game, but then when you remember it's on a handheld, you'll also be screaming, just like our obnoxious headline.

dronesensor @ Jan 9th 2008 12:48PM
i'm not really sure what this has to do with the DS, but hey, way to go taking the title of this blog so literally.

Poor shinleon, can't afford two portables...
I have both so I enjoy the best of both worlds.

I always wanted to be one of those movie voices...

This is the game that will make me keep my PSP. This is just great and I loved the demo. Matter of fact let me play it again. lol!

My god ... the music is just amazing , garphically speaking ... well I cant get a superior word for mazing ... its just that good :D
Trev @ Jan 9th 2008 12:06PM
Well, it doesn't look quite as good as the PS2 games, but the fact that there's even a comparison is amazing. This looks better than any handheld game I've seen and we KNOW we're getting the crazy action GoW gameplay. Really appears to be a top notch game all around.

i wonder what the battery life will be when playing this
disposition @ Jan 9th 2008 1:24PM
Probably the same as any other game that takes advantage of the 333mhz.
LeChuck @ Jan 9th 2008 12:41PM
It's not a PS2 game YET. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually gets ported like so many other PSP hits.
Mikagami @ Jan 9th 2008 1:07PM
Uhm, name a few games that were ported from PSP to PS2? I must be out of the loop.
aaron_k7 @ Jan 9th 2008 1:42PM
@Mikagami
Went PSP -> PS2?
Puzzlequest
GTA: Liberty City Stories
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Those are three that I know offhand...there could be more. I would think that GoW:CoO would go to PS2, depending on how it sells. Problem is, GoW2 looked soooo good on PS2...a Chains of Olympus port would most certainly not measure up to that standard.
LeChuck @ Jan 9th 2008 4:35PM
Along with the ones Aaron_k7 listed, add:
GTA Vice City Stories
Silent Hill 0rigins (not out yet but announced)
R&C Size Matters (not announced but listed by retailers)

At the end of that interview the guy pretty much says they want to port GoW to PS2 eventually.

waaaaaant. *drooling* i'm actually refraining from watching the trailers and looking at screenshots. i don't want anything ruined for me. but i know by virtue of this being a portable god of war game, that i want it, and i want it BAD.
although, i have to admit, i was a bit disappointed in god of war 2. $50 just seemed a bit overpriced for a game that did nothing to improve on its predecessor, other than adding a couple new weapons and a new level set. should've been a bit lower priced, if you ask me.

Wow. That is freakin' awesome looking!
Cyxodus @ Jan 9th 2008 5:29PM
I have the demo and it is AMAZING!!! The music is wow!!
Trekster_Gamer @ Jan 9th 2008 6:23PM
This game looks great, might even pull a few opened minded DS owners over to the light side ;) The footage though is just a rehash of what we have seen.....
GIMME NEW FOOTAGE, heck GIMME THE GAME!
soccerdrew17 @ Jan 9th 2008 7:41PM
it's gow, no questions asked.
Hashbrown_Hunter @ Jan 9th 2008 7:43PM
Kratos looks even more badass on the small screen :D
March is gonna be awesome.
