CES video presentation of Bionic Commando

Everything old is new again. Capcom's revival of the NES classic Bionic Commando caught many by surprise. How is development going? Well, that's what this presentation from the Consumer Electronics Show is all about. Strangely, after watching this video, the thing we're most excited about are the menus. Yes, that's some sexy GUI there. The rest of the video can be seen after the cut.

It seems airy when he is going through a air, almost like there's low gravity or something, I don't know. It doesn't appeal to me.

Well I think they're doing that so people have enough time to shoot at an object and swing. It makes it kind of easy, but since it does require you to aim and swing it looks satisfying.

Ugh, he runs like Gabe from Syphon Filter 1. And the textures are atrocious, PS2 level almost. Early days and all, but still.

They seemed to have put way too much thought into how to get around. Nothing wrong with a regular jump button.
