Metal Gear Solid 4 limited edition box a possibility

This Metal Gear Solid 4 video from Gamespot contains a few interesting tidbits of info regarding the release of Metal Gear Solid 4. First, the release is confirmed, set, cemented and on target for Q2 2008. Honest. There are also discussions within the Konami marketing department regarding a limited edition box for the game - though we're hoping it won't really contain a live alligator or a gun.
Metal Gear Online is once again reiterated as being a pack-in starter pack with MGS4. There's no word yet on whether a full release will be on shelves along with MGS4, or whether the non-starter content will only be made available via the PSN Store. Finally, there's some more in-game footage from the first level of the game. You know, the one you've watched about a hundred times already.

I'll be buying the limited edition game, if there is one. A bandana or FOXHOUND patch included would be sweet. MGS is why I bought a ps1, a ps2, and a ps3. I don't care what anyone thinks, MGS4 will be a system mover.

I think the game looks amazing, but yeah, I'd like to see more than the first board at some point. I really hope there's more variety to it, something Resistance:FOM needed badly. Enough with the browns and grays.

Besides the fact that this means there's no Chance of a Dante appearance (kill me now)...

While I infinatly prefer Darth Vader to Yoda, and I'm glad that I get him instead...
And I get the logic of the whole whole color thing behind it (360=green/white=Yoda/lighside) (PS3=Black=Vade/Darkside)...
Why can't we have both?

What is going to happen is that Namco will release the characters as DLC for both consoles respectivaly a couple months after release.
They know people will pay.
Annoying. If it wasn't the sequel to the best fighting game ever I'd be mad.

Also C3P0 confirmed playable for Wii version.

If there is a japan only limited edition I'll be pissed. But since games that are a lot less prominent/crappy get limited editions (See: Two Worlds) I doubt that Konami won't want to milk us all for another $10.

Of awaiting the arrival of the magical technical marvel of the day, Sony's PS3. And after nearly running over what seemed like thousands of people for a decent spot in line at Best Buy!
