New PS3 "Pick N Mix" bundle for the UK

We know what you're thinking. "Yeah, but the games probably won't be any good." Not so! Games that can be bundled with your new black monster include Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Singstar, Motorstorm, Resistance, Folklore and Warhawk. Or, if you're feeling masochistic, you can even go with LAIR and Genji 2. Sound good? We think so too. This bundle will be available from Friday the 18th of January and will continue "until further notice".

wow, that sounds like a GREAT deal to me.
How much is PS3 selling right now? If it's the same price, I say it's a steal. Good for you, British!
If it's up to me, I'd pick up R&C and Unchartered.
for casual fan: R&C and Singstar
for Hardcore fans: Warhawk and Resistant
for RPG fans: Folklore and R&C

They pay more than us thats for sure. Good for them though! awesome games ! yes LAIR is awesome not sure bout Genji with giant enemy crabs running in a historic Japan. Could not resist!

I pick the RPG fans choice. Too bad I don't live in the UK :(... I hope they'll bring the bundle to the US. I would probably reconsider my choice to buy the 360 for that awesome deal.
By the way, retail price for the PS3 is about 400 US dollars last I heard. I'm not sure what that is in UK money, but I'm pretty sure the bundles still an extreme steal :).

Wishful thinking maybe. The all black model is much sexier than the chromed version. Man I wish I could find a 20 gb model. They would have to be crazy cheap off the shelf at this point....

You can still sign up for a Sony Style credit card, get $100 off your first purchase (a 40gb PS3) and you'll wind up paying $300 total. I think that deal is still going on.

The thing is, if you go to Amazon.co.uk and purschase a 40gb Playstation 3 along with Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank you're still going to end up paying £349. So this isn't really a great deal. :P

I do want a PS3 but not for that ridiculously overpriced amount.....
The PS3 has to be £250 for the basic model + 1 game.
What's the US PS3 price? I'd pay slightly more than half that...

You can get a PS3 with a free game for £299 and purchase a game for £35 so this is overpriced..

Yes this is a little over priced. You can get the console for £275 from Play, and then if you look hard enough you can pick up every one of those games for £30 or less with game vouchers floating around... Especially Lair, it's like £20 preowned...

Or you could buy the PS3 online from Tesco for £265 (with quidco) and then buy the games on their own.. pricerunner and twengo are your friends..
