Sneak into The Agency with this video interview
When we first heard about The Agency during Sony's Gamer's Day last May we were, quite frankly, a bit meh about the whole thing. This new video interview from GameTrailers, however, shows off some of the gameplay and gives an interesting look at what the game is aiming to become. Operatives and Home integration sounds like a really interesting way to blur the lines and have you playing even when you're not playing. We're sticking this one onto our radar and are actually looking forward to its release. Whenever that may be.

I think the Agency will be enormous. I am really looking forward to being a Spy. I'd like an online game that is more than just a shooter but has shooter aspects, this sounds like it could be it.

I'm looking forward to this game. My love for shooters has grown since I've purchased the PS3. I'm hoping to hear more about this game and that it will be released soon/whenever it is ready.

This really did increase my interest level for the game.
Little details like the email/text message alerts.

My question is this: Will it require a subscription like Phantasy star online or Final Fantasy online?
Dehshizknight @ Jan 15th 2008 4:25PM
I'd say not because Sony Online Entertainment has been talking a lot about making all of their games free from fees and more emphasis on downloadable content for revenue. I really like that idea.

This game seems very ambitous, hopefully Sony hasn't bitten off more than they can chew with this title.

would be really cool if your spy could be used as your avatar in home, so you could kinda take some downtime at the bowling alley before getting a call to go kill some peeps.
home is definitely getting more and more Intriguing.

Ahhh, i'm really likin' this concept.

This is a concept that appeals to many people, yet I cannot shake the nagging feeling that it's execution may be underwhelming. Being basically a shooter, they have to get that right, and with many great shooters having been released during the last few years The Agency will have to keep pace with them. Otherwise, it won't have the legs that the concept seems to promise. I really hope that this game can deliver, but I wish there were more gameplay elements here besides being a shooter-derivative.

Looks interesting... As long as they get the shooting model down perfectly...
Am I the only one that for some odd reason thinks that guy is cute?

The only issue I have with this is:-
SOE only make's subscription games. Or as like to put it gaming on the never, never.
