Why you should buy the Devil May Cry 4 Collector's Edition

Still on the fence as to whether or not you should get the collector's edition of Devil May Cry 4? For those who already ordered it, you should hope nobody else does as your odds for winning their new promotion are fantastic. See, 100 copies of the collector's edition will be personally autographed by the game's producer, Hiroyuki Kobayashi. This gives the special edition of the game a much higher value -- a real collector's piece, you could say. The thing is, the 100 copies are split between the PS3 and 360 versions. So really, PS3 owners may only get 50. It's a very rare thing. Take it or leave it, ladies and gentlemen, but the odds are astronomical which means your obtaining one of the signed copies instantly makes you a celebrity of sorts.

think about it though, if you pre-order one, the chances of you getting one is actually 0. those gamestop employees like to hog the good stuff themselves(never received some of my pre-order goodies, even when i asked for them). even if your store gets one, the will probably just give you a non-signed one. yes i dont like gamestop.

Is it $20 more over there? Over here, it's marked at being the same price. Of course, we do kind of pay a lot anyway. £40 for both copies on play.com

his autograph is worthless. the guy is not famous or anything. personally no ones autograph is anything specially unless they are signing a check over to you lol or something of value other then their signature.

I already have the PS3 Collectors Edition pre-ordered... I highly doubt the place where I'm getting it from will have said signed copies.

Of course, the chances of getting one probably lessen since the article does NOT state that it is North American specific - 100 spread out worldwide means a slim chance anyone will ever find more than 3 in any one single country. That is, unless I'm reading this wrong...

@13, uh, PS3 version is still the lead SKU. It has more features than the other version such as no load times, and uncompressed audio.

This game prolly wont even sell 100 copies on the PS3. I decided to get the PS3 version instead of the 360 version. And im definitely getting the collectors edition. I am a big fan of the series and I would like to have the hard case and I imagine the anime will occupy a couple of hours of my time. Afterall it is only a $20 difference.

I already have my limited edition of the first zelda for nes on its golden pack signed by Shigeru Miyamoto (won it on a YuGiOh duel) so i don't need any more

'll just get the PS3 version, cuz 'll be buying a PS3 this coming summer, maybe, or for xmas, cuz i bought a Wii earlier and I'm a little short on money with the coming Wii releases
