Pan: Actually, I never cared for the Street series of games. I love me some FIFA, though. A week later and I'm going to check it out tonight, because you never know. =)
Panathas17 @ Jan 25th 2008 12:11PM
Yeah... pretty cool in my opinion, anyway... have a nice weekend
WBM @ Jan 17th 2008 7:40PM
C'mon Sony... when are you going to share these PSN games with Australia/New Zealand/Europe. We still don't have PAIN, still don't have Everyday Shooter, and still no HV Bowling. What gives?

I thought blast factor was a great game. It was actually the first game I bought off the psn. Mainly because it had a demo ;)
chiki @ Jan 17th 2008 5:53PM
strange... i don't see turok D: just stupid kane and lynch
OTAM @ Jan 17th 2008 5:38PM
Activision and Red Octane are laughable in their DLC compared to EA and Harmonix.
Simply laughable.
Rock Band F-T-W.
spyker @ Jan 17th 2008 5:46PM
Not bad, I'll probably just be getting the Motorstorm pack! $3!!

"Blast Factor bundle? Really? Why release a bundle of a game that isn't terribly good (and certainly has better games of a similar genre to contend with on the PSN)"
Uhh, to my knowledge there's ONE other dual-analog shooter available on PSN with multiplayer. SSHD has a good weapon system, but it's also shorter and the rotating world is really annoying multiplayer. Better or not, if you know of ANY others, do tell.
Solo, yes, Everyday Shooter kicks everything's ass. But I believe multi and solo player are separate genres, and you did say "games of a similar genre". I bought Blast Factor purely for multi-play.
And aside from that, why not a bundle? Do you really think anyone who's going to buy a PS3 has bought one by now and there are no more new gamers coming in?

How did you get this information about the update?
topbravo @ Jan 24th 2008 3:15PM
its up
Musouka @ Jan 17th 2008 6:26PM
Uhm, just checked the US store, and instead of a Turok demo there is Area51 demo (not that I complain - I like both equally). I'm from Europe, this might be the reason?
Musouka @ Jan 17th 2008 6:27PM
Ah, found it in "View All -> T -> Turok"
Popfrogs @ Jan 17th 2008 6:37PM
Please, avoid that Area 51 demo, it's a real pile of crap. Framerate problems, freezing and hard lockups, etc. etc.
Dahk @ Jan 17th 2008 6:47PM
Yeah seriously, I didn't know where/what to do after you get to that place where the building is enclosed by a fence.
... I got frustrated, gave up and deleted it =P. Meh.
Tim Parsons @ Jan 17th 2008 8:01PM
Borderlands trailer " you won't survive long here,. not without guns,.....ahellofva lotof Guns" Damn I love that part got me interested LOL,. not WTF is it FPS im guessing
KILLU @ Jan 17th 2008 8:11PM
when are the ps point thing gonna come out. like instead of using ur cc, u can just by these cards worth there certain amount?? oh yea demos cool. um turok sweet.
Tim Parsons @ Jan 17th 2008 8:23PM
spring-ish
Musouka @ Jan 18th 2008 12:24PM
Played both demos (Area51 and Turok), the graphics are unexpectedly dull in there. All thanks to using only basic lightning and shading from the U3 engine, with no touch-ups.
And my fingers hurt of using R2 & L2 for shooting. WTF, did they never try playing it on a sixaxis? I was a bit hyped about the two games ^^".
SolidSnake2K7 @ Jan 18th 2008 5:12PM
Two demos and some Motorstorm DLC, pretty good. Turok wasn't that great though.
Panathas17 @ Jan 19th 2008 7:30AM
No FIFA Street 3 love anyone?
Consolcwby @ Jan 20th 2008 11:22PM
@ Panathas17: Nope. Not even one person. Nope. None at all...
Panathas17 @ Jan 23rd 2008 11:55AM
