Americans can join The Club this Thursday
While Europeans have been enjoying being members of The Club since the end of December, this Thursday it's America's turn to get their membership cards officially stamped. A demo of the game will be released this Thursday on the American PSN Store, just in case those of you who are really anticipating the game (all six of you!) haven't downloaded it already from the EU Store.
The demo gives you a taste of the bizarre gameplay modes included in The Club. This very arcadey shooter has a variety of influences (such as kart racing, perhaps?). Which might sound interesting, but we suspect there's a reason it hasn't been done before. Soon, you'll be able to give Bizarre Creation's latest a go and see what you think.

So is this indicating that it is possible to pick your store regardless of where you are?
Scott @ Jan 23rd 2008 10:44PM
Your take on the game seems pajorative, yet I wonder how deeply into the game you've played.
The demo seemed quirky enough to keep me addicted in the more difficult settings.
Before said demo existed I had no excitement for this title whatsoever.
That said, you might want to consider others views of a PSN demo before assuming everyone agrees with your slant. Your readers might take offense (all six of us)

Again with the negative slant on everything (i.e., "all six of you"). I know it's your own form of journalism, but that's the kind of stuff that turns people off this site and onto N4G, Neogaf, and some of the others out there. I've been a loyal reader for so long. I just wish you all would report the facts w/o the spin. And maybe a link to where you got the info that the demo will be released (unless it was direct contact from Sony/the publisher). You can do what you want, just my opinion.

Oh despite my comments - which i hope you do understand where i'm coming from - i do appreciate you all breaking the news and the heads up. it has been added to the UNOFFICIAL RUMOR MILL of PSN and linked thru to your article.

jango fett @ Jan 22nd 2008 3:29PM
damn right. im with you on that. i wish we had proffesional journalists on the net even if its with blogs. oh well. these are the kind of things that give us 'gamers' a bad name.

i downloaded this when it first came to EU store,. boring,. guess that's one less new demo i can expect on Us store this week,.
and I'm not one of those 6 for sure after having played the demo
gibson355 @ Jan 22nd 2008 3:31PM
Nick C., Jem in right...this game is completely off the radar, at least in Los Estados Unidos. Nick's got a sardonic tone, but he's not far off the mark. No one is looking for this game. I can assure you, after having played the UK demo myself, even fewer will be seeking it after playing the State's demo.
HAAS599 @ Jan 22nd 2008 3:41PM
IMHO any demo heading to the US PS Store is a good thing. I have an open mind and enjoy experiencing something new and different. Even if it sucks, its free and I can now say it sucks having made my own judgement and not just jumping on the bandwagon of someone elses judgement just because they made a funny joke about it in a blog.
Akamaru @ Jan 22nd 2008 6:50PM
I played the EU demo and while I did have fun, I don't think the author is off the mark by saying that there is really no one anticipating this game's release.
